I guess I should mention that I too have joined in with this fun.

My avatar is the Dark Goddess Althena, from Lunar.

I guess technically she might not be a "boss" in the traditional sense, in that the player doesn't defeat her. You just like... become her love slave, or something. At least, I think that's how I remember it working. But hey, if I couldn't have a sexy anime babe as my avatar, what would be the point of anything? (Bill and SUPER's avatars worked nicely.)

Also, I put together some NES themed boss avatars, and posted them in the avatar thread (I figured they can be used outside of End Boss Month). Mostly Dr Wily stuff. Since I'm feeling generous, and these NES avatars are all about one kilobyte (PNG seems to like the NES), I'll say that I don't mind if anyone (on these boards) having problems (or unfamiliar with) hosting their avatars, direct-links them and leeches some of my ISP's bandwith for this month (as long as it stays under a couple dozen people). Also, Dr Z (or any other mod) is allowed to direct link them onto people. ^_^

I like BOF2's Death Evan, the plot of Churches and religion being on the darker side, than anyone could expect sounded like the real thing

Especially the end, when Death Evan killed well... ya know I don't wanna give spoilers.

The most evil game character award obviously belongs to none other than...Pokey! Yes, that fat chunker you had to chase around in Earthbound...Ness was always so nice to him, and Pokey just had to stab him in the back! Honestly, I've hated no "final boss" more than him...

The thing is, I hate him so much that I'm not even going to think of putting him as my avatar...

lol, the best ones are the obscure or forgotten ones. I was gonna use Ganon, but I couldn't find a good one that really showed his evilness. Ms Pikmin found a good Ganon one so it was good I went with my obscure Dragon Quest end boss.
