Teh Bottle Rocketz

Using these instructions, I was able to (with my friend) buld a very, very slick bottle-rocket launcher (we're using 1L Mountan Dew bottles and firing them at the fence), and it works great.  It's just that we used similar PVC launchers at school, and with theirs', using a pin and string, we were able to pull the string and fire it at will.  But with our method (we're using an old yet good electric tire pump), the rocket just fires when its ready.  If anyone has any ideas on how we can time our launches like that (we've got all summer on our hands), please let me know right away.  Thanks a lot! ;-)

EDIT: Thanks everyone...er, Jale...for helping...er, trying to help...but we've come up with a way to utilize the whole pin-string thing.  Go ahead and lock up this thread, mods, it's useless now...

EDIT 2: Well..my idiot friend's idea didn't work...so, uh...I'm kinda looking for suggestions again...oh, and Jale, we're kinda trying to steer away from the elctricity (we're using water) if at all possible (thanks anyway).  PLEASE, we need help!

You could link them up on a circuit so that with one press of a button they all fire

Well if you are running them off an electric tire pump then simply undo the casing (once there is no power of course) find the wires that go into the switch, disconnect them, wind longer wires to them and attatch these long wires to your switch. It is probably very dangerous but what the hey.
