DS Picture

This is the only picture I've seen so far of the DS outside the officially released pics.
I must say it looks a lot better there than in all those other pics. I realize it is not exactly like it will become but it's probably very close to the final product. If you find any more pictures please place them here.

Here's another pic that though not real shows what the games will be shaped as and the ports where they'll go.

This is the DS at the show and even shows the card types.

This has a size comparison

A close up of the gba load port, shows the volume controll, where the headphones plug in and a notch quite possibly for a strap

"Do I spot a GBA link port there?"

Yeah it looks like one next to the DS game slot which I assume is on the top of the unit.  Since the DS is wireless I assume that it's not a port for it.  Looks like we'll still be able to play multiplayer GBA games and we'll be able to use this with the Cube.  My only concern is how the Cube link cable is going to fit since it has those stupid prong thingys that have to click into holes.  The way the port is positioned it looks like the DS game slot would get in the way.  I could always break the prongs off but I don't want to wreck my equipment.

Link port? I don't think so. The port next to the DS card slot is the same as the GBASP's power/headphone adapter port. The link port is smaller and has a slightly different shape. If the DS ships without a GBA link port, I'd imagine they'd handle GBA linking through the (non-WiFi) wireless technology they're including in the unit.
