Are you talking about Galleon: Islands of Mystery?? If so, here is some info on it:

Info from IGN
Info from developer's web site

But I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news and say that this game is now only coming to X-Box. Here's a quote:

"From the creator of Lara Croft™ comes an epic tale of action, adventure, romance, evil and mystery. SCi Games Ltd is proud to announce the June 2004 release of GALLEON , a unique 3 rd person action adventure game on Microsoft Xbox™. "

Pirates: Legend of the Black Kat? That got canned on GameCube. PS2 and Xbox ahoy. As for Monkey Island.. Well.. Escape from Monkey Island only appeared on PlayStation 2.

And Lucas Arts announced they won't release any more adventures.

If you want pirates look into Sid Meyer's Pirates! sequel.

They also said they wouldn't be delving into the Extended Universe with their Star Wars games, too, even after Knights of the Old Republic was not only hailed as quite possibly the best Star Wars game yet, but one of the best selling, too, I believe. Lucas Arts is getting really stupid.

I think the creater of Lara Croft didn't even continue the Tomb Raider series because it didn't even improve.  He quit early.  Good or not GCN needs every game it could get.  Why?  It doesn't matter why thats what helps the other systems.
