Strange, the comic link is working now! Yeah, I downloaded Kazaa already. Great software, so much easier to find MP3s (although buggy - GUI goes missing!). Downloading Cowboy Bebop opening theme - Tank!

Cartoon Network is also showing Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 and Gasaraki, plus others...You are missing out! Here's hoping they will show Love Hina...

sorry about that. yeah, i used to tape myself playing the old 64 too. playing rogue squadron. id watch all my ass kicking playback and think, "yeah, im a badass mutha".

well, i called harvery norman chatswood and YES, they do in fact have 50% off ALL gamecube software at the moment. i asked them if they had burnout 2, but they didnt. i also wanted to buy resident evil 2 and 3 for a cool hundred bucks but they didnt have them either.
i went to EB and wanted to get them to match the 50% price tag but they will only do it if the other place actually has it in stock. but if it WAS in stock they would be obliged to sell it to you for the same price.
so technically, you could call the guy at chatswood harvey norman and tell him to say to his next caller that they have all games in stock... THEN tell the guy at EB to call harvey norman and ask if they had a game that you wanted in stock ( i asked the guy at EB how they confirm that its in stock at another store, and he said that all they can do is call them and ask), THEN buy the game at half price. easy.

now, of course, thats fraud (says the guy at EB after i explained my diabolical plan) but its also a 50% discount baby!

anyway, so i bought a second hand copy of GODZILLA: destroy all monsters and it turned out that its price had gone down to 50 bucks, so i got my 50 buck game anyway!

yay, ive got 20 GCN games now!

EB near me suck, they don't even price match the likes of K-Mart's 15% days even when K-Mart has the game in stock -_-
By the way, there's a 15% store wide at K-Fart tomorrow and Friday. Friday = GBP launch day

I have that starfox song as one of my ringtones, i just got it yesterday! That remix owns! 15% off storewide at Kmart you say? Hmmmm, should i get a game? which game? hmmm *rubs chin thoughtfully*

Oh yeah, i saw an ad for Vice City last night on channel 7 during Angel. -____- wtf do they need to advertise that game, bloody hell, its the number one selling game in the past 3 years, i think people would have heard of it by now -____- arent they happy with Vice city being ONLY number five on the all formats chart after 6 months? -__- And those midnight club 2 ads piss me off, they show NO gameplay whatsoever, only high quality CG that looks as realistic as real stuff, the actual game looks nowhere near that good, in fact it looks crap.

And SLM sucks arse (little 'cool' mini-mag that comes with the Daily Telegraph in Sydney). I went straight to the back, because that's where the games reviews are. They have a snowboarding feature... They talk about SSX and ESPN Snowboarding... Fair enough... Then for some demented reason, we get struck with "But hey, you could get Halo on Xbox, a true masterpeice on XBox, you control Master Chief... BLAH BLAH BLAH"

... Wha? I don't see the connection.

They've got a review of Wind Waker. They said the sailing was a big downer, as it gets boring and fighting the random monsters in your boat is all the same -_-

Wario Ware also got a review. 8/10.
They claimed it was strange and original. In fact, they implied the majority of GBA game are lacking originality. Yeah, I hate how Wario Land and Zelda are the same thing -_-
It's almost like Nintendo repackage Space Invaders all the time! EEGADS.

Quick, where's my money? I read the back of the box and gave the game a random score, my job's done! Said the 'reviewer' as he waddled away...

Why complain about a stupid feature about snowboarding games? I'm not.
Cause I'm GOING snowboarding in a few weeks time!
And this year is shaping up to be the best season yet!

I played my friend's PS2 today.
I thought Midnight Club was a game like GTAIII, but it turns out to be a racing game. A fairly crap one too.
Vice City kept stuffin up, so we screwed that.
Capcom vs SNK got boring after two rounds.
No One lives forever was really, really sh*t. I thought it had multiplayer too.
Tony Hawk 3 got boring, but the Horse more was the best.

The one game I actually got into was Stitch Experiement. It had crap controls, graphics, camera and 'objectives' but for me the redeeming factor was the lightsabre-like grappling hook, and the (you guessed it) slo-mo feature. It was just another platform stage-based game with thumping techno (ala Blinx), but it was the only really playable game, so I just stuck to it.

Meh. It was sh*t, but I got used to it.
Then you know what my friend says?
"Ah mate! So you like PS2 now? It's got the best games hasn't it!"

Er...yeah mate.

Haha. That's nothing. This guy called David Mandell, who's like a modern day Nostradamus, dreams all these disasters, and when he wakes up, paints/draws them before he forgets them, then runs down to the bank to get his picture taken with the clock, which has the time and the date.

He painted the sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway and the concorde crash. He also painted the Twin Towers attack on September 11....

1996.

Freaky.
What's more, he's got over 200 other artworks of things that are yet to happen....
