GOD!!!!  Australia has been getting alot of attention lately!  I'm not used to it!  I want games!  I want commercials!  I want a golden goose NOW, Daddy!  But NOOOOOOO  australia get's the golden goose!  poo.

Y'know a scarier game than Eternal Darkness?

METROID PRIME

Yeah, that's right.  Eternal Darkness has scared me once, but Metroid Prime scares so much I don't want to play it anymore.  I just got the Gravity Suit and just entered the crashed space pirate ship thing.  The game is so dark even on full brightness!  I can't stand it! I'm afraid to enter each room in fear of some hideous creature sucking the energy out of me.

So far, Phendrana Drifts is my favorite place, mostly cuza the music.  And cuz it's bright.  And not dark.

Now that that's over with Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, AAAGGGHHH Real Monsters....all the old cartoons are great.  I saw Pete and Pete yesterday, that was good.   I used to hate that show but now I like it.  i haven't been satisfied with any TV lately except for Nick at Nite.

Oh yeah, Powerpuff Girls are cool!

How did I manage to break your heart?

I have made the pages easier to read on my site, but I am still deciding what to use my site for.  I guess I can use it to put up some stories instead of using the forums as my jumping board.

I have added the Chaos to my site, but it has only one entry so far which is really just so people know the link is active.

I am strange, therefor I act strangely.

I have now officially decided to buy The Curse of Monkey Island for PC with what quarters I have left thanks to PIAC and his sigs.  I just need to find it somewhere, seeing as none of the stores have around here have it.  I don't like ordering online.

I figured the PC in my room needed more of a use than Sonic CD and Minesweeper and the occasional solitaire (I have NEVER beaten that game).  It doesn't have internet becuase my parents are paranoid (I believe I've mentioned this before) and I STILL haven't gotten Morrowind yet because my parents don't know how to keep promises AND are paranoid.  I'm not allowed to load games on any computers in the house unless the computer is below the required specs is.  that's pretty much what they're saying to me.

nono dont get curse of monkey island (thats number 3) start from the start! unless you allready have, the first two you can prolly DL from somewhere, try the-underdogs.org or something, OR you could buy the compelation of 1 2 3 and 4, it was only about $20's than buying #4 on its own, which i think is a good price for nutmeg!

also

you can play ED but you cant play metroid prime... and i thought I was the wuss! well... i guess i still am... go play metroid

Correction, KnowsNothing- the Powerpuff Girls USED to be good. Just like Rug Rats, the show was incredibly good until it started getting popular. The popularity went to the show's head and it began a steady downwards spiral into oblivion. I remember the original 3 Powerpuff Girls What A Cartoons and they were hilarious (whould you expect any less from the art director of Dexter's Lab, the second best cartoon of all time?). The show started off great, too, but i kept getting more and more viewers and the show became worse and worse. Now it isn't even trying to be funny anymore. Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig McKracken, and Mike Lazzo (pretty much the guys that made the PPG movie) actually agree it was not real good at all.

Rug Rats started off kind of mediocre, then got great after it gained a cult following. When that cult following extended to every goddamned person in America, the show plumetted. I wish cartoonists were better suited to handle sucess nowadays.

I agree 100% mouse-clicker.

PIAC:  Another case of parent paranoia.  Although waht are the chances of a virus being on the-underdogs?  pretty low, I might try it.  The only thing is if I do get a virus, which I'm sure I won't, than I will be in so much trouble I'll be banned from computers and video games most likely.  And I'll feel really bad.  I'll try it anyway though.  what a bad kid i am.

EDIT:  checked, it's not on the under-dogs.  perhaps you are nice and can find another site to get it off of VIRUS FREE.  Can I burn it straight to a CD without downloading to my computer?  That would be nice.

I was never satisfied with Dexxter's Lab or the Powerpuff Girls.  Johnny Bravo is good though, and Ed, Edd, and Eddy were once, but now I'm bored of them.  My three favorite cartoons of all time are Invader Zim, Angry Beavers, and Rocko's Modern Life.  Those are some great shows.  Nick sucks; they cancelled all of them.  Someone will pay for that with their life.

Well then you must be watching the crappy new Dexter's Lab because it's quite literally impossible for anyone to dislike the original show. O_O I say that with all seriousness.

Termin8: Just wait until you find the adult Sheegoths!
My favourite part is the Phazon Mines, and the boss in there is awesome!!!
*adds "Finish Metroid Prime in Hard Mode" To To-Do List*

KnowsNothing: MP is awesome eh? Sometimes I had to remind myself to breathe.
And you've NEVER beaten Solitaire? You need to play it more

And on the subject of good cartoons, I saw the new Inspector Gadget on Cheez TV this morning while I was half awake. Doesn't beat the original at all. Brain (the dog) is nowhere to be found, and there were two mini-robot Gadgets following Gadget around instead of Penny and Brain. Boo!

And Danger Mouse? Man, I miss that too.

Never won solitaire? You mean like Vegas style? I won 3 times in a row once on Vegas style. My running total on Frecells, out of 685 games, is 282 losses and 403 wins. Frecell, IMO, is much better than regular solitaire because it's based entirely on skill rather than luck- there's only 5 or 6 games that are impossible to win out of hundreds of thousands.

Sega Soccer Slam GET! Its awesome! I didnt like it much at first, and found it really wierd, the controls are weird, but it grew on me, and its awesome! Especially for $29!

Oh yeah, and a few interesting things i found out. Nintendo Australia plan to fully RELAUNCH the gamecube here. Yep, thats right. The 10 million dollars they are using to advertise in the next few months doesnt sound like that much does it? Well, Microsoft and Sony combined didnt spend NEARLY 10 million dollars advertising thier consoles when they LAUNCHED! Just to put this into perspective, Nintendo will be EVERYWHERE. Expect Nintendo ads every day on tv, Nintendo in the cinema, Nintendo in magazines, a much stronger presence of Nintendo in stores, lots of positive coverage from all media etc. This is all happening because early this year, or about 6 months ago, Nintendo Japan representatives came down to Australia to do a survey and see how GC is performing down here, and when they found out how the cube was really doing, they were disgusted. So they had two options, discontinue the cube here, or spend millions relaunching the cube and getting its sales up. Now i know you might be thinking, yeah whatever, they said they were going to advertise Metroid Prime everywhere, but they didnt. But this is 10 million dollars we're talking about here. The massive advertising campaign will start in September. Hopefully Nintendo Australa will hold another event at Darling Harbour for Mario Kart or something. And hopefully Nintendo Australia spend thier money WISELY.

I see good times ahead for the Cube. I cant wait until Animal Crossing, F-Zero GX and Mario Kart and everything else that i cant be bothered typing!

AiAi now has boardband!  Yippe!  Not only that, but also unlimited downloads.  I will attempt to download each and every one you!...

PIAC - need help with ePSXe?  Why didn't you ask me in the first place?

Mario - $10 mil on advertising?  Puh-leeeaaaaaazzzzzzeeeee.....unless NCL had money to burn and lend it to NAL, I won't believe it until I see it.  But if it does, it will knock my socks off!

Don't even get me started on awesome old cartoons.  Remember these classics:

Healthcliff
Mask (no not The Mask with Jim Carrey)
Silverhawks
Thundercats
Voltron
Transformers
He-Man
Johnny Quest
G.I. Joe
short lived Dinosaucers

I know there are more, but can't think of them right now.  The new version of a few of these do not even compare.  Heck if you want to, I can host the intro vids to a few of these if you like.  Ahhh the memories.

No problem Infernal.

Ya it is a shame the way cartoon intro audio tracks have declined over the years.  They need  to bring back the hardhitting intros.  That is one thing that kept me coming back to the shows for sure.
