I'll probably see it on Saturday (depends on the recovery from Friday nite )

I really liked Spiderman, and liked Daredevil too. Some people say its a clone of Spiderman, which is garbage. Sure, they're both in outfits and jumping from rooftops. That's where the similarities end.
I liked Daredevil because it's not as clearcut as Spiderman was, with the good-vs-evil concept. Hulk looks to be going the same way. Can't wait!

And I think PIAC's going on about DKC being ported to GBA. Diddy Kong's Quest and that third one (never played it, meh) will likely follow.

Infernal Monkey - Both Grandias have a separate story and characters, like the FF series.  But the battle system is the same, which I really love!  Grandia 2 is funny, but Grandia is even more funny.  There are some really funny cut-scenes and discussions that I don't want to spoil if you ever decide to hunt for the game.  As for the chit-chats before bedtime, yeah, I enjoyed them. I really liked Mareg.  He was an interesting character who made some good points about life.

Shifty - I look forward to it!

That 007 James Bond image is hilarious! Maybe we should produce this movie in Australia and I'll be the director!  You heard it from me first!

thos episodes are weird.
I liked it when everyone was happy just trying live and battle the Angels. Episode 1 to about episode 8. I dunno. It started getting weird when they tried to put Shinji and Rei in each other's Evas, and when TOji was the Fourth Child.

*In McBain style voice*

I LOVE IT!
Hopefully I'll get out of my lazy state by tonight and try and provide a background and logo on the site

Annnnnnyway,
Donkey Kong Country
It's been messed around with too much. Graphics have been badly downgraded for the GBA, lots of animation is cut, backgrounds have been totally redone, to look brighter for the screen... Some levels that featured day to night transistions, like the first, no longer do this. Which is pretty crap. Music is very tinny sounding, but the score is still outstanding. Man Rare had awesome talent with cartridge music.

But for some demented reason, Funky's barrel airport music has been cut out, in favor of a terrible elevator style music track. Also, Cranky Kong has lost ALL his personality. He no longer disses Donkey and Diddy, and he doesn't get all violent on your ass when you visit him (he used to hit them around with his walking stick)
He provides lots of tips though. Which is good, I spose.

That's the downsides.
Upside is that the game itself still holds up VERY well. Levels are still as fun and challenging as ever. Graphics are still good to look at despite lack of animation. There's also two new mini games in this port. A fishing game, which is mighty fun to be honest and a strange DDR style dancing game. The music for this section is mystery. It hardly gets you excited about clapping along to the beats... Plus I couldn't figure out how to do anything at all
I pressed left when it said too.... BUP-BOW. Most likely a glitch in the ROM or something.

Oh yeah, there's a lot more text in this game to read. They've tried to add to the rather bland story, which can only be a good thing. Seventeen thousand thumbs up out of three.

I dunno, if you haven't played the original, you'll enjoy it heaps. If you have, you'll be a bit pissed. This port could of been much better, if only they didn't f**k around with it.

More reviews coming soon. After umm.. I dunno, had lunch or something

July 10 hey?

*Fart*

Sonic Adventure DX, Dark Cloud 2, GBP, Wario Ware, Golden Sun 2, Sega Arcade Gallery and Sonic Advance 2 and about 40,000 other things are on my want list at the moment. Wario World is like, on the bottom, next to a dead cat and a barrel of pickled onions

As do I, but like, a have a jar of them in the fridge, so my want of the barrel is very low at the moment

w00t, just finished next weeks comic, alas, it has no room in the background, so a special non-nintendo based PGC cast one will have to be made this week as well! For AiAi and Shifty's monkey-o-rama fight of doom A SUPA BONUS 3000.9 EDITION!
