... the game is planned for a US release this year.
Cube-Europe

They even stated an EU date, but that seems to be made up.

One year to translate a game? That's just ridiculous. I guess i should be happy that it's being released outside Japan at all though.. whatever. Hopefully i'll still be interested in this game next year, although i doubt it. *sigh*

I think the game used Kanji or whatever the spelling is, which I understand is a harder to translate language than I guess another Japanese language is.  If all games were made with English text I would be happy.  I know that is selffish and greedy, but I never said I wasn't selffish or greedy.

Almost any game uses at least two if not four of the scripts the Japanese use. The translation time usally is only effected by how much text is in the game. (Or digitized voice acting.)

(The scripts they use are Kanji, Katana, I forgot but I belive it begins with a H, and Roman Script (The incideousness of the English langue cringe in fear.))
Stupidity is lost on my. Then again I'm almost always lost.

Yeah, there are many symbols in Japanese Kanji that don't translate into a specific word of English(be it a certain kind of emotion, etc...)  Just be glad we're getting it...

And to the "not as bad as I thought it would be" delay of Tales...

Kanji are really ambiguous. Some cannot even be found in dictionaries. That makes the whole thing a nightmare to translate.

I'm not bothered about how long it takes to get here... just as long as it gets here. Been looking forward to this one for a long, long time.
