Arcades

In a word, Teens. They hang out for a minimum of 40 minutes and up to 3 hours in Channel M arcades. And we have them surrounded.. with our posters, tournaments and teens-only TV program.

EB Games

Guys, guys and more guys. Eighteen million males 18-30. Over 950 venues. Video games coming out of our ears. If you want to reach males in a place that brings out their passion for entertainment, EB Games is the place.

Draygaia, that means you missed THE SC2 commercial for the GCN.  There was a Link exclusive one that I saw during the MTV music awards (congrats to Ninty...people watch that) that broke down alot of his moves and was entirely gameplay.  Very Sweet and worth the download if you can find it.
As for the "who are you" FF:CC commercial, I don't think that commercial has the ability to interest anyone who wasn't already getting the game.  The problem with "who are you" is that often only people who have read about or played the games get the references, ergo the people who already knew about the game's release date for years, are entertained by the commercial- wrong crowd Nintendo.  I. Sane is completely right and I am so surprised that Nintendo managed to mess up the "Square commercial formula" that has always served Square so well. (Ian broke it down if you don't know what I'm talking about).

I was actually comparing it to multiple commercials I hate.  Crash Bandicoot, DOA III, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, etc You know someting where are just doing things really dumb.  I never saw the MTV commercial but I will admit FFCC is nothing like the OoT commercial or the commercial for FFVII.

The music in the OoT commercial was licensed and composed for Nintendo.

I didn't like the FF: CC commercial Berto2K put up.  Not enough game footage to show how beautiful it is.  And what was the point of having teenagers at the top of a building with magic in their hands?

Yeah i just looked at it, and to me it looks like they choose the worst possible game footage they could find, the gameplay footage needs to look impressive, and show the best graphical parts of the game. Argh, make better commercials Nintendo!!

What's the matter with you people? I just downloaded the spot and it is pretty cool. It looks like a movie, the fog efect is cool then they show this young people on the building (that part looks really good) and then the little footage showing great effects, is little footage but enough (like 10 seconds). The voice in the background is very good too.

Pretty cool tv spot.

I said well done Nintendo. Honestly.
