Topic: A Super Monkey Ball Question...

I picked up SMB at the suggestion of  few members here, and I really dig it. The only problem I have is this: I turned on the Auto Save, but I can't seem to access the last game I played. It seems to be saving, but I can't figure out how to continue where I left off like most other games. I got to Floor 17 on the first night I got the game, and I want to see how far I can get, but I don't want to have to struggle through all of the previous 16 Floors all over again.

Can anyone help?

I don't think you can save in the middle of a run through the main game. Its all or nothing. It makes sence too. Otherwise people would just save each time they passed a floor and then essentially have infinate lives... which I guess you can get eventually. But the real challenge is to win without using a continue. It won't take long to get back through the first 16. Especially once you've gotten good at them. Most don't take over 30 sec to finish.

It's still annoying as hell when you have to play through in one session. Other games implement those one-time saves (that are deleted upon load)

the auto save dowab just saves your points to unlock minigames etc i do believe, unless ofcourse you save during aiai vs zombie jesus, now that's an epic battle.

Saving mid way would make it WAY too easy

Although come to think of it i ended up needing infinite lives to finish

OMG, mario finished SMB2 in like 2 days or something, with Expert done as well.
I finished the 100 stage Story mode, but this guy is a freak. HE did everything.
