Any idea?
« on: May 15, 2025, 12:07:13 AM »
When you buy a Wii game on the eShop, it downloads to the Wii U memory. But does it also save there, or does it save to the Wii Mode memory like a disc-based Wii game would? I'm asking because I want to be able to move my save games to the SD card so I can continue a Skyward Sword game on a Wii after starting it on my Wii U with the eShop version.

It saves to the Wii Mode memory, which you can access through the Wii mode memory management. Transfer it to an SD card and I think it should be accessible on another Wii?

Why am I replying to this? It seems like a legitimate enough inquiry.
Will Evan_B ever create something worth appreciating? Stick around and find out!

I guess we have some spambots from 12 years ago finally finding their way to these forums. I've always suspected the OP is a spambot but there was never anything about the account to directly flag it. The second post with slightflint is more easily discernable to be a spambot as it shares an IP address with previously banned spambot accounts. That said, maybe it is time to just nuke those whole thread and ban out both those posters. But on the other hand, they're tackling a difficult gaming subject in 2026 and staying on topic while doing so which is kind of impressive as well.
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.
