Although a Gamecube hard drive could have some uses, I don't think that it would contribute much to the gaming.  When you talk about downloadable Zelda content, I get concerned that Nintendo would feel obligated to create some.  I'd rather they work on making the next game in the series, rather than continuing on the current game.  But, I think it would be interesting to see 'gamer-made' dungeons, etc. even if it would likely be incredibly complicated and having the possibility of viruses.

idea for downloadable zelda game:

you create your own island / dungeon with a unique "relic" (think nintendo gallery statues) that other people obtain by completing your dungeon. the goal would be to collect relics from as many dungeons as possible.
i agree that nintendo should not waste time developing downloadable levels, gamer-made would be ideal. it makes you wonder how long into the future will games evolve into the gamers ideal gameplay.
