I'm thinking of getting a GameCube for Xmas, but I am reluctant because I'm not sure about the games...
I know there are great games currently available, Metroid, Zelda etc. but what about the future...?
Will legend-games like DOOM 3, Halflife 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Splinter Cell 2 be available for GameCube?

The console's price is great, the games are cheap, so it's not a question of money, but of game availability.

T would really appreciate your advice on the matter.

All of which are exclusive...Of course, these are only titles that have been confirmed, so there are obviously going to be more... Oh, and it's not likely we will be getting any of those titles besides Splinter Cell...In fact, I doubt ANYONE besides a PC gamer will get Doom III and Half-Life 2 for quite a while...
