I never liked that other forum for that reason alone. I'm with you dude, it's time to leave the ezboards behind us. Plus I like the whole vibe I'm getting around here, these forums are gonna be great, trust me.

Yeah, enough of those topics built around Nintendo's business, we shouldn't care. The games are the center of all and why we came here, so good point.

I never really used the old boards (the ads had a tendency to crash the computer I was previously on)

But, i think its important to ensure that the forums are positive.

Well I never visited the old forums as the pop-ups were too annoying, but if they were negative then we should try and change that.

My browser has built in pop-up protection, so the popups didnt' really bother me much.  I just thought the board didn't have any good features, a horrible interface, and were just plain ugly.  These ones look a lot cleaner.

But yeah, I am very much in favor of keeping things positive.  It's always been my experience that if you get a bunch of Nintendo fans together, we always start griping about the way things are going.  It's really weird actually.

I like this new thing, but why no AVATARS????  IMO, that is the best part of forums!

They used EZBoard a long, long time ago. We haven't updated the software in a decade (I know, I know, I'm working on it) and that was still multiple iterations of the forums ago. As for Grey Ninja, I don't remember that specific story.

Grey Ninja. That's a name I haven't heard for a long time. Grey Ninja became a game programmer for Ubisoft and Tell Tale Games, he works at a new place now. I haven't talked to him in like 10 years though.
