I was at cnn money and i came across this little article. Its full of BS at the end of the GC part.

Unfortunate for CNN is that nintendo is a japanese company and is on a japanese exchange, American Investors wont invest in them anyway.

It's funny. The writer obviously just chose three high-profile developers out of the blue to use as examples and all three actually have close ties to Nintendo at the moment. The only developers that have dropped support for the Gamecube are the ones who really never supported it to begin with and aren't capable of creating games that can actually sell on it anyway. Basically, all we're really missing out of on is cheap ports of mediocre games that wouldn't have sold on the Gamecube anyway and probably wouldn't even make it to the shelves of most stores.

Turok seems to be a franchise that was better left on the N64. The first and second were the most popular, but the next two (Rage Wars and 3) just didn't seem to satisfy.
I never liked it anyway.
I hate it when developers who give such sh*t games to GC complain about why the hell it didn't sell well.

O forget the D*ck. News channels + newspapers are paid to talk smack.
Nintendo's consoles always have the best games, and always will.
I don't need no damn GTA, I got True Crime. I have played both and I like True Crime better.
And it's not all about the third party games.

One day, im guessing some time in the nano age, when they can no longer push the console any further Nintendo will rule because of their innovative, creative and addictive games.

Most people don't give the Cubes games a chance. An example is everyone I know that didn't own a Cube, but rather a PS2 or X-Box, when they seen the new cel-shaded zelda they said its totally ruined. I made one of my PS2 owner friend play it and he loved it. The Wind Waker was one hell of an awsome Zelda game! Although despite all the water.

Heh, just my opinion.

i think the article could have been a lot worse. obviously they were wrong about capcom, but both ea and konami werent giving the gamecube a whole lot of support. the only way gamecube gets an exclusive from konami(besides disney sports games) is if nintendo has one of their second partys develop the game and then let konami publish it. nintendo also had to make the deal with ea to bring 20 games to the gamecube. i'm betting that deal included some very popular titles that could sway potential buyers, becouse i havent seen anything special coming from ea. it wasnt the greatest article i have seen, but its far from the worst crap i have ever read about nintendo. to each their own i guess.

The only problem with this crap is that it tells the truth. You all could name the exclusives that the GC is getting. But those games were announced a long time ago. What and how many exclusives was anounced recently? Why is 3rd party ignoring the cube?

Konami? Who wrote this rubbish?

The last console game I bought that Konami did was Castlevania, Bloodlines for the Sega Genesis. That was at least a decade ago.
