I believe all of the software is saved on your computer, not the Cube itself.  And I don't think you can play PSO for free with it.

You run the tunneling program (warp pipe, xlink) on your pc.  Connect your Cube to either an available port on your router, or a 2nd network card on your computer.  The software makes the cube think that i is connecting to either another Cube directly, or to a router/hub/switch with other connected.  But it is actaully reaching out online for connections.  Nothing is downloaded or stored on the Cube.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rather then Make a new thread I think I will ask my Q here.

Ok my house is designed so my gamcube/computer are located in MY room UPSTAIRS and my router is located in my office downstairs.  Now,  I have a rj-45? wire running from my pcs lan card to my router downstairs.  Now heres my Q.  Can I simply buy another network card ($20) and just plug a ethernet wire into my new card and my cube and connect like that, or do i need to plug the ethernet wire into my router?  Cause right now my tv is located in my room and so is the gamecube.  So how would I set this up to work for me?

I know i could pay ($100+) to get another cable installed in my room but thats hardly worth it.  So just please some1 tell me if I can buy a 2nd network card and somehow connect like that?

Oh Btw I will be using either warp pipe or x-link (which ever one works faster/ is available)
and to answer the guy above mes q.... Yes,  X-link and warp pipe are 3rd party programs
