Thornado
« on: October 30, 2003, 05:05:38 AM »
Weren't we all under the impression this game was canned?  Over at Cubeeurope, comes this quote:
"Thornado is being developed by Factor 5 for the N5. I have seen some screens of Thornado on the Gamecube and it is going to be a Contra type game. It is looking sweet if I don't say so myself."

If this has been previously reported, i apologize.  But it surprised the heck out of me.  I was fairly certain Pilotwings would be for N5, but having Thornado at launch would be outstanding.  Is this a well known fact, or is this guy making up a pile of crap?

I thought that the game was under "indefinite hold" until a later date...If this is true, hopefully Factor 5 can work out the 3rd person stuff...*points at Rebel Strike*

cube-europe are bandwith stealing jerks, ask berto2k, untill it's sourced from another source i wouldn't put too much stock into it, having said that though it would make sence to have Thornado on the N5, especially if its a graphic whores kind of game, they tend to suck certain people to a console. i do hope its a contra(aka Super Probotector) style game, aslong as it has 2d sections

i want pilotwings for GCN, really badly, i love pilotwings 64, awsome graphics (for the time) and excelent music even by todays standards, but if it is indeed being developed (has it even been confirmed yet?) having it as an N5 launch title would make sence i guess.. a good variety of launch titles is a must.

I believe Pilot wings has been confirmed to be in development for the N5.  But if i heard it from Cube europe, then who knows.  But i think i remember IGN mentioning it as well.

And about Cube europe, heres another quote:
"The GTA double pack will very likely be released for the GC, albeit later than the other two."

Where the hell did he get that info?

heh, a small brown hole south of their lower back i assume. it makes no sence to release it on cube later than the other two consoles.
