Topic: Spring Quarter Anticipation

We all know Nintendo has something up their sleeve - always an ace just in case. I think we'll see some surprise games this winter, and ofcourse get some announcements about this springs line-up about 2-3 weeks after xmas. Until we get confirmation, what type of games would you like to see represented this spring? More lan? More connectivity? Any publishers you'd like to throw their hat onto Nintendo's rack? How do you think this rumored 40gb hard-drive will play a role this next year? And finally, when oh when will the lcd get released?

i doubt it's a HDD.  I mean this supposed to be something new.  I know this industry is based on hype and all but the Xbox has one and the PS2 is due with a HUGE one coming out next year.  Nintendo said they feared competition finding out - seems if it were a HDD you'd want the public to find out as to keep up with the recent momentum of the GCN

Megaton wasn't even nintendo.  It was a magazine making a big deal out of a cartoon character being in a game.

HDD...why?  Sony's has been delayed ad infinium and I don't see why nintendo would need one.  I mean you aren't building a massive game collection that particularly needs it, why bother?

i agree that it is possible that nintendo will release a hardd drive for the GCN GCN HD concept, remember the N64DD? kinda the same idea here. except online gaming is finaly starting to take off (for consoles) when i was on mushrooms while playing windwaker, i imagined subliminal messages of nintendo's next statradegy (GCNHD) being downloaded into my head through windwaker. hehe, good times
