Majin doesn't mean Machine in japanese, I believe it means evil * like Majin buu or Yusuke * It's possible there's more than one meanning but I'm pretty sure it's a referrence to evil. * Could be spelled Majinn *

No, when I was fighting my "equal". the boss after the shark.  I suppose my eye's might have been playing tricks on me.  Have I mentioned recently that I love this game?  Cause I do!

mjbd, you saw correctly.  The framerate does slightly dip in strange spots during the clone fight.  Kinda like the small framerate dip whenever Samus drops a power bomb close to the screen.

Wow. I didn't notice EITHER of those frame droppers. I guess I'm to enveloped in the game to care. I did notice frame rate drops in SMS. Doesn't really bother me. It catches up in a matter of seconds.

Even in that stage, when it dips, it only last for about a second.  I will admit to being a framerate whore though, so go figure that I noticed it.

I just bought Viewtiful Joe and i think it's a very nice game,  but i can't get past that helicopter in the first level Anyone have some tips?
Maybe i should try the kids mode before playing the adults mode

Try punching and kicking baddies into the helicopter (dodge, then hit 'em with slomo).
