Open Up a Gamecube

Hi, I am opening up my gamecube because I spilled a beer on it and all the buttons are sticky.    

I have removed the 4 bottom screws thanks to this little screwdriver gamebit that i purchased, but when i try to pull the lid off, it seems like it's stuck.  Do it just pull real hard on the lid to pull it off, or should i do something else to it?

All of the 4 screws on the bottom have been removed.  What should i do?
