The people that deserted Nintendo and bought an XBox for Perfect Dark must be pissed that it's not even coming out on that system either.

You'd think people that have a gamecube - with it originally supposed to be on gamecube and may have been a big reason they bought one - and have been following Perfect Dark since N64 would want to know...

Anyway, either this is ALL RARE'S FAULT, or MS wanted to do this. They knew that people bought an Xbox for PD so now they want people to buy an X2 for the same reason. Of course da peeps will get pissed and abandon MS. Seeing as how MS makes bad decisions left and right, this is entirely possible.

Or maybe it's because there is no way Rare can release 5 games within a period of less than 2 years...They have GbtG, Kameo, Conker's, and Banjo to release first. And I'm doubting Banjo will even be released on the current system

Maybe Nintendo was smart to get rid of Rare. There's no point in having Rare if they can't get the games released before 2005 (end of this generation).

Well, there's two things.

For one, even when PD0 was still listed under GC, it still had 2005 as a date. Which would have been the launching of GC2.

Second, that's prior to the new look, the anime style. Why did MS or Rare decide to go with that look? Maybe because of the developement time--though it's not cel-shading like everyone is thinking (unless it's a new method since it has multiple colors + fading).

But yeah, with slew of FPS on the xbox, you really don't need too many more--platformers will brand name is what's needed because games like Voodoo Vince isn't going to sell.

Here's the truth. Perfect Dark Zero may NEVER come out. It's listed in internal company memo's as being "on hold indeffinately."

Once they have finished most of the games, they will start work again on PD...

Here's strange logic for you. Which of the 5 or 6 games Bill mentioned would do better, sales-wise, than Perfect Dark Zero? None of them. So why would Rare put their best franchise on indefinate hold?

The whole Rare deal had a lot wrong with it. It also doesn't help that they are allowed to program for the GBA either.
