Recently I decided to hook up the original nintendo that I got back from my cousin after 14 years or so. It was fun.  Ghosts n Goblins is what really brought back memories. I got to the last level then said f this. And contra is still sweet after all these years. Now I'm gonna hook up the nintendo 64 and play some pd and mario kart with my brother. Haven't played a decent fps in a long time. I thought time splitters 2 was sh*t I couldn't even figure out how to aim, I don't think you can (at least not in a conventional or practical way). Pd co-op is probably the best muti-player experience I've ever had. I'm just waiting for the next batch of gc games to come out like RL and viewtiful joe. I'm trying to rent f-zero and soul caliber but so far no luck. Oh I got to give my impressions of gta vice city that I played at my cousin's for the first time. It's a cool game, my favorite part is being able to listen to the radio while you drive. The combat system sucks, the graphics suck, it's innovative but to me I think it would get old fast. My cousin meanwhile was excaiming how it's the best game ever, I was kinda like whatever. Pd is more violent in my opinion cause it's more realistic and you can get more up close with your victim. I love splattering people's blood all over the walls in that game....anyway just thought I'd share my latest gaming thoughts with you guys.

Hooking up old systems after a long time is always a great way to realize how far games really have come, and what got you into gaming.  I know hooking up my NES always shows me how much fun platformers really can be.  My SNES spends more time on than my NES, but both are still great systems.
