Topic: Just picked up Soul Calibur 2 and F-Zero...woah!

I traded in all of my older games to pick up these 2 titles today.

F-Zero is one of the best games I've ever played! Its soooooo fast and clean!

Soul Calibur is great too- the best 3D fighter I've ever played!

This has been a GREAT week for the Big N. Many people have been facing the dilemma of choosing either one of those 2 games (or they just say the heck with it and buy both). Nintendo should do all their power to keep Sega (specifically Amusement Vision) and Namco happy. This is a good start in what I think is going to be an awesome next three months for the Gamecube.

Yeah, when I picked up my Soul Calibur, the guy at the desk was like, "Man the Gamcube version is selling well. I think that was the last one!" HURRAY FOR BERNY! I love this game. Yunsung is the best. Although I recently played the PS2 version against some friends and I've just noticed how cheap Nightmare is. That thing shouldn't be allowed.

Picking up both was a no-brainer.  The hard part was deciding whether or not to pick up Pokemon Pinball now or later.  If you hurry up and get it today (Saturday), you can get it from Best Buy for $20 after using the $5 coupon on those giftcards that line some of the video game racks.

I preordered both of them.  Played SC2 for about 4.5 hours straight after I got it on Wednesday night.  Then next day found F-Zero at my doorstep after getting home from class.  But then had to go to work,, aargghh.  Anyways, i have been playing more fzero than sc2.  That game is just so addicting, fast, sharp, and awesome.  It is hard, very hard.  But most of the times it is just little turns, boosts, or jumps that make all the difference.  Took me about 25 tries to beat chapter 3 in story mode.  A bit of acceleration vs top speed adjustment helps too.

im 30 hours into sc2...i beat all the weopon master modes but im missing soem things i still havnt gotten lizardman or a few swords .

edit now i have everything except  some character profiles...which ill have my brother do.

i was so desperate for sc2 and F-Zero GX that i had to get rid of Metroid Prime, Street, and SSX Tricky.I was sad but at least i have two new and awesome games.

Yeah, I bought both. I played more F-Zero at first, but after bringing Soul Calibur II to a friend's house and beating Weapon Master, I seem to play more SC2 now. Hey, The Perm, how do you get Lizard Man?

From what I've heard, you need to beat WM twice, and possibly be above lvl 70 to unlock Lizardman.
