n-philes has stated that TOS is actualy 4 players.......anybody know if this is true

in all the other tales games i have played- your party can consist of four characters, but it is a one player game

I think I read somewhere up to four players can play co-op.  Kind of like three players with Secret of Mana.  I may have read wrong.  It's still a one player game.

You can have all four characters controlled in battle(nowhere else) by different people.  I'm sure.  Also if you look at the bottom left corner of the Japanese case, you'll see 1-4.

Hmm, looks like one of those play option that is fun for the kid with the game  but bores the rest.  Will have to see when I buy this game, though.

Hey, good eye.  I've seen that pic before but never noticed that there at the bottom.  That's be a nice little extra if the game had multiplayer, even if it just for the battles.
