Topic: What is it with Pepsi lately??

Pepsi is being such a fricking copycat these days. I dunno about you guys, but have you guys tried the new Pepsi Vanilla?? It's pretty nasty stuff..I'd rather drink my Vanilla Coke, but that's just my opinion. The only good pepsi products are the Mountain Dew products, and maybe Sierra Mist. But otherwise, if Coke and Pepsi battled, Coke would kick Pepsi's ass. What do you guys think about the Pepsi and Coke differences?

i said earlier today Vanilla Pepsi is nasty. I like pepsi better then coke, and i like Vanilla Coke better then regular Coke. I dont like mountain dew but i like Mountain Dew Code REd and Mountain Dew Live Wire. Lemon Coke and Lemon Pepsi are nasty when canned(they use artificial flavors and its nasty..i used to make my own lemon coke/pepsi way before they started producing them. And cherry sodas are all good. I don't like root beer but only because i cant stomach it(my stomach automaticlaly rejects it and it forces me to vomit...i dont know why maybe root bees level of fizziness is soemthing my stomach hates. All sprite and 7 up are good though 7up tasts a  tad better. Sprite remix is great and so is dnL

I didn't go off topic, I just chose to ignore the main part and focus on another part.  The part that must have been part of your sig, where you said something about your avatar.  

As for the soda part, I've never had any Vanilla Pepsi so I can't comment.  I like Vanilla Coke, but not something i want to guzzle down like I would Cherry Coke.

Vanilla Coke is just simply vile.  I have no intention of trying Pepsi Vanilla, as I hate Pepsi more than Vanilla Coke, and I can't see it being any better than regular Pepsi.

Give me a good old Cherry Coke any day.

Geez, just when we Aussies get Vanilla Coke and Sprite Ice (they've been around for a while, mind you), 745049080945 new flavours pop outta the cola factories in the US.
I hate Vanilla Coke. It just has a bad aftertaste. Sprite Ice is just a blast! It's fizzier when it's colder, and godDAMN it's nice.
But i just can't go past the oldies. Coke, Fanta, Mountain Dew all rock the way they are. Pepsi, well, they try to hard to be cool. But then you just can't go past Britney's sexy pepsi music video

I adore all flavors of Mountain Dew. It's the best. Mello Yello ain't bad but I still prefer m'Dew. Oh and I didn't even know there WAS a Pepsi Vanilla until I read this forum. Like Pepsi Blue, I'm not gonna try it. I didn't like Vanilla Coke all that much. But I think that Coke is better than Pepsi.

To me most pops taste the same with only slight differences in them.  I cant get excited over new flavors.  They taste the same.

Coke has more fizz, Pepsi has more sugar.  Whatever your bag is, I suppose, unless you care about animal rights, assasinated Columbian workers, and soforth.

Nevertheless, I like pepsi better in a can, coke better in a 2L, Pepsi better from a fountain, I don't like either Vanilla product (actually I haven't tried v pepsi, but I assume ...), Pepsi Blue reminds me of Romulan ale, and I think it's good, I don't like either diet, and I like Barqs better than Mugs.

Nevertheless, I'm not buying coke products in any fashion.

I completely stopped drinking soda after Coca-cola dropped Mello Yello Melon.  I must have been the only person in the U.S. that drank it.

actually keep in mind different localities each soda may taste different. Maybe in canada theres a tariff on the vanilla and they use some cheap crap(like pepsi is using by default ugh). Remember how i was disucssing the sugar situation here.

Do any of you guys remember Surge? That drink was frikkin loaded with sugar. But I loved it...too bad they had to stop making it..

Anyways, Pepsi Vanilla has a fake vanilla flavor to it. Vanilla Coke, on the other hand, has no bad aftertaste. But the REAL Vanilla Coke (put vanilla in Coke) is the best.

I'm a Coca-Cola man myself.
Pepsi's ok, but I only have it once in a while.

Vanilla Coke is horrible. I keep being told its nice, and for some stupid reason I continue to try it.

But I'll stick to beer personally. My favourites are Coopers Pale (normal) and Hahn Premium (expensive).

Same with me too Mario, but if I had the choice I will always pick Coca Cola because Pepsi leaves this weird film in my mouth after drinking, and has a more pronounced after taste too.

At McDonalds, the default drink is coke, so unless I'm really paying attention, i only get coke. At KFC, they ask if you want pepsi (the default), and since i'm a machine with a crappy daily routine, i just blab out a 'yeah' before i realise it cause i wanted a mountain dew or sunkist.

Damn.

Wanna know the real reason Pepsi and Coke release so many new products? Shelf space. When Coke or Pepsi introduces a new product, some more shelf space is cleared for it. Not only does this mean MORE space for Coke or Pepsi, but LESS space for their competitor, and that translates into higher sales.

In terms of the soda war, though, Coke's WAAAAY out in front- most people don't even think it's possible Pepsi could catch up, despite it having huge sales as well.

Coke and Pepsi usually have their own seperate coolers to keep the pop in.  At least that's the way it works in Canada.
