Sega's lineup for TGS this fall (aint sure if list is real)
« on: August 10, 2003, 12:02:48 PM »
hey, I got this list from one of the users in the talkback section of gamecube europe, he said he had gotten it from the gamefaqs forum.

As you can see on this list SEGA confirmed it for the TGS this fall :
- Derby Owners Club Online (PC)
- Lets make a Professional Baseball Team 2003(PS2)
- Kunoichi (PS2)
- Dororo (PS2)
- Sakura Taisen Story (PS2)
- Sakura Taisen 5 (PS2)
- Horse Racing 3 (PS2, GC)
- Sonic Heroes (PS2, GC, Xbox)
- Sonic Battle (GBA)
- Phantasy Star Online Episode III : C.A.R.D Revolution (Gc)
- Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg - (GC)
- Virtua Fighter Quest (GC)
- Sega GT Online (Xbox)
- Sega Ages 2500 (PS2)
- Altered Beast (PS2)

- New game(PS2)
- New game(PS2)
- New game(PS2, GC, Xbox)
- New game(GC)
- New game(GC)
- New game(GBA)
- New game(GBA)
- New Sega Ages 2500 (PS2)

I hope this is the real list becuase that'll mean we'll get to see the first ever screens and maybe even videos of VFQ, that could be a big seller if done right and I'm sure it is goin to be done right lol.  Thinkin bout it just reminds me of that samurai showdown rpg for neo geo a long time ago that Ive been diein to play yet never got to (still hoping for workin designs to release it as a lil special box like they have with lunar 1, 2, and arc the lad)  Also what do you people think the new exclusive GC games are goin to be and what do you think bout xbox's dwindling exclusive list lol.

aight, I'll be sure to shrink ma avator down lol, it is kinda big lol.  But yeah, dont know how I didnt think of super monkey ball 3, that has to be one of the new games.  Some wishful thinking would be an exclusive rpg, maybe the next skies of arcadia thats in developement or a true installment to the phantasy stars games, but I dont even think thats bein done since thats been turned into an online series it seems.

Someone suggested that one of the GC games could be Skies of Arcadia 2.  That should at least be to the point that they could show something or at least announce it, officially.

It's about time they finally reveal VFQ.  Hopefully after all this time it will become something decent.

- Kunoichi (PS2)
- Phantasy Star Online Episode III : C.A.R.D Revolution (Gc)
- Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg - (GC)
- Virtua Fighter Quest (GC)

- New game(PS2)
- New game(PS2)
- New game(PS2, GC, Xbox)
- New game(GC)
- New game(GC)
- New game(GBA)
- New game(GBA)

These are the games I have some interest in.

Too bad for Xbox.  It's a smart move for Sega since their Xbox's titles flop like crazy(Shenmue II, Toe Jam & Earl, Panzer Dragoon Orta).

Im guessing they just arent showing thier Xbox titles at the Tokyo game show

No one in Japan gives two craps about Xbox, it would not be wise for Sega to unviel thier Xbox games in Japan.

The only Xbox exlusive is Sega GT Online, and its the same game but with online capabilities. They are just bringing that thing out to try to even out on that project. Sega should stick to GCN and PS2

I bet one of the GCN games is that Knight N' Knight RPG that I heard very little about.

I think Sega will think twice before putting exclusives on Xbox after Panzer Dragoon Orta sold 10K less than Tetris Worlds in US.
I think that Xbox 2 will have even bigger problem getting Japanese support than Xbox, which means again, low sales in Japan.

I really hope that other one of those new GC titles is Shenmue III.

It's a sequal to Clockwork Knight, a game for the Saturn.  And it's not a RPG from what I've heard.  I believe it's a platformer just like CK.

Shenmue 3 is a possibility. Maybe the one that is for the GC and PS2, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. It will more than likely land on the PS2.

Mmmm, Clockwork Knight. That's been long overdue for a sequel
I love this line-up, I can't wait to get my mits on Billy Hatcher and the Sega Ages line-up on PS2.

I just received my new copy of Shenmue II (DC/Euro).  Well, it was new before I took off the seal a minute ago.  I wonder how many new/sealed copies will there be left on eBay.  Awesome stuff.

If Shenmue III doesn't come out on GameCube, I'm gonna play hockey with PS1 systems in my Toys R Us' game department.

My friend imported a Euro Copy of Shenmue 2 when it was released for the Dreamcast. He enjoyed it.
