hi,
im in desperate need for an explanation on how to get through granite cave to reach the champ. i go down the steps left of the entrance and cant get back up them. any help would be appreciated

what the hell are you talking about. The champ is the last person person you battle after the Elite Four.

OK, I'm sure you have Flash right?  Just follow the path to make it around.  When you enter the cave head left until you find the ladder.  In the next room make your way up and to the right until you reach the next ladder.  Then make your way left and down in the next room.  You should see a bit of light near the bottom of that room.  Steven is in there.

hmmm
im using an emu/rom so i think something maybe missing.
left of the entrance theres a ladder which is the only way to advance through. going down the ladder i seem to fall down another ladder into a basement area where theres an everstone hidden.
all i can see is a few rocks that need smashing and 2 sets of ladders, 1 one a higher area than the other. ive tried going up both but as soon as i go up them, i fall back down again. theres no other visible place to go.

One question. Is the Boss the little guys that come at you screaming trying to kill you with either that large knife or staffs? I see those everywhere I go and then I usually fight and kill them. Then that one big guy with the big set of teeth with that long staff and blade with the bright red tassles. Those are the only guys I have fought with so far. I made it so far. I can't believe I am so stuck here. Thanks again, Bill.. Much appreciative......Harley
