I'll see what I can come up with but I think it may be a lot of reports sent by me. I seem to be more creative than most who will just report with a spam or spambot comment.

Well, in case you haven't noticed, these forums have been a bit starved for content of late so I'm making like the Native Americans and trying to use every part of the content available on these forums to let nothing go to waste. We just can't afford it.




Plus, this is an idea I've had since when I became a mod. There were some messages I remember sending that I thought might be funny and wished I could remember them and now I can find them again to post them. It also has the added benefit of maybe making other users raise their game in reporting spambots to make it a bit more entertaining. Sounds like a win-win to me.

And I didn't know people were going to Discord. I honestly haven't noticed a lesser amount of posting.

Perhaps I was thinking of the Normans from Normandy. Never realized I spelt it wrong. Thanks, Phil.


As for Discord, it's usage varies. Some days there are very few messages posted and some days there can be a large discussion. A few forum regulars that are spending more time there seem to be Kairon and Soren with appearances by Lemonade, ShyGuy and Pokepal148 along with special guest appearances by Nickmitch, Lucario, ClexYoshi aka Wishy Washy and myself. There might be other forum users going by a different name on there but those are the main ones I recognize and know about.

(What makes this a great report? Well, this is something pokepal148 should have posted in NWR Feedback or in the comment thread itself for this podcast. By using the Report to Moderator feature for a joke, it could be compared to someone calling 911 to complain that Burger King is out of Whoppers for the day. But instead of arresting pokepal148, he can now just be banned for life. Unfortunately, UncleBob just gave him a 10 point warning that day for abusing this power. Hopefully this will encourage him to try it again now that I'm a moderator.)

That may have been during the period where we didn't allow manual post editing. There was the whole "Free SUPER" saga and somebody edited an old TalkBack post so the feature was disabled completely for a while.

Here's the post in announcements where I announced it was back a while later, which UncleBob hilariously edited.

Never mind, I think I got the details of this wrong. I've been here too long to remember things right and am apparently getting senlie.

Here's the post in announcements where I announced it was back a while later, which UncleBob hilariously edited.

Yeah, that was TalkBack that had editing disabled not the Console Discussion Forum in which BnM's post was made and that forum didn't have it's editing ability disabled. Tlon was the one who messed up Talkback. I know the history of "Free S-U-P-E-R" better than most. You think I wouldn't have checked my facts first?! My god, man! You don't even read these reports anyways until I post them here. That's got nothing to do with Free S-U-P-E-R but it's a quick and easy zing on you and I'm using it. And I'm not even going to post the latest report where BnM asked for a mod to reset his poll in upcoming movies so people could vote once more for the year where, once again, he could have done that himself since he is the OP of the thread and can edit and recreate a poll. He's losing it and I'm the only one keeping track and tracing the timeline of his posting game degradation. It's beginning to look like I'm the only one here staying at the top of their game.

One more for now and then I'll let this thread rest until I can go through and gather up some more entries for the future. (There are some I'd love to post but they were members reporting about insults from other members and that could create touchy issues about reporting privacy breaches so you'll never see those. It's why I mainly stick with spambots and other non-NWR personal related reports. Calling out BnM on asking for helping editing may already be in the grey area but from his presence on these forums I'd think he'd know it isn't malicious or meant to shame.)
