In case anyone was wondering: http://kotaku.com/someone-has-found-all-900-korok-seeds-in-zelda-1793276463
I haven't read the story for fear of spoilers but is that really impressive? I mean, there are guidebooks that were released for the game. Wouldn't they list where all the seeds are? It's not like a bunch of that information is out there. So, feasibly everyone should be able to get all Korok seeds if they have the time or want the help.
Of course, doing it without a guide is quite the effort dedication and if he did then good for him. I'm amazed at how fast some people are blowing through this game. What is their mentality? Are they savoring it or just blasting through as fast as they can? Where are they finding the time to do it so fast?
I would sooner restart the game than hunt for all of the seeds. I'm already planning my next play-through and how I will do some things differently. Hoping there will be a hidden New Game + like the old games had if you named yourself Zelda, though that may be the hard mode.
I'm going to see if I can do it because I just like exploring every inch of this land. While sometimes annoying, it still feels like you are discovering and uncovering a new secret every time I find a new one but it definitely slows down how fast I'm advancing in the game. I've found over 100 now and I know there is much of the map I've yet to get to. There are 4 regions I still haven't gotten to the tower to fill in yet. I don't mind because it makes it easier to know where I've been as I work and check off areas I've completely covered. In addition to seeds, I've found a couple regions full of treasure chests so I like those treasure regions and grabbing all kinds of booty.
In my mind, when I bought and started the game, I pictured that I would complete it and see how much I could complete it, though, I doubted I'd fully be able to finish it and that would be it. It's why hard mode as DLC didn't interest me (and just how much harder are they going to make it
) as I figured one play through would be all I'd ever do with this game. However, like Stratos, I'm seriously contemplating doing it again. I'm curious what the experience will be like to play it fully knowing what lies ahead.
