There isn't a way to buy this with actual eShop currency, is there?

Anyone with a WiiU and a co-op partner should definitely drop the buck for Affordable Space Adventures. It's quite good. I never ended up finishing it, though, as it started getting pretty demanding in the back half; my brother got tired of being saddled with Gamepad engineer duties, and I was no good at it.

I have partaken in this bundle and am excited for how rejuvenated my 3DS feels.  I haven't bought a new game for it in a while (not that there aren't a bunch to choose from, mind you).

Also, really excited to finally play a Shantae game.  And I recall liking the Rhythm Thief demo, so that's a great pick up for the $10 I paid.

Actually, I paid a buck for Retro City Rampage for 3DS, but thought that the Shantae game was the new port of the second game, and I already have the new one. If anyone wants the code for Pirate's Curse or Affordable Space adventures, let me know.

Edit: Soren has dibs, though.

I grabbed it (without a Wii U or 3DS).  I'm hoping the "more games" will be good.  So far, I like the old Humble Nindie Bundle better, but this is awesome too.

Looks like a good deal.  I'm debating between the $1+ and $13+ options.  The prices stay the same other than the pay more than average one, right?  I'm thinking I'm going to wait and see what the more games are before deciding which one to go with.  I'm sure I'm going to end up going with the $13 option since I own none of the games but I still want to see what gets added first.

I wanted to check out Darksiders 2, so I did $13. All the games have been fun. I maybe should have given my 3ds codes to someone else. I'm waiting on my sister in law still. Citizen's of Earth is very Earthbound-esque, Freedom Planet is like a Sonic game and pretty fun, Shantae is your average platform game. I had actually wanted the game bundle for affordable space adventures, but I got stuck right away. Overall, this was like a really good deal. If I had my own 3ds, im sure it would be spectacular.

It's sad that the best Shantae game can be summed up as an "average platform game". Not too far off the mark, there.

I disagree with that assessment.

The GBC original was really good compared to other games of the era. It had some flaws, but was a fun and stylish game with some interesting design choices.  Later sequels kept up that trend, and while none would be "must play" games in my opinion they are consistently enjoyable enough to be worth playing.

The trick with Shantae games (at least the ones that I've played) is that they don't show their full potential right off the bat - you have to play far enough in to start unlocking transformations and special abilities before it gets interesting.

In my opinion, the transformation aspect of Shantae is its weakest element- while it is supposed to help with dungeon and overworld traversal, the dance mechanic is cumbersome, tedious, and few of the transformations are actually fun to play with.

Pirate's Curse is the one game that I would say has the fewest flaws, with the only real one being its unnecessary stealth segment. GBC is the epitome of a handheld game of its era trying too hard, and Risky's Revenge is convoluted, short, and not very fun.

That being said, I think that if Wayforward has the time and money to do what they want, they come up with great products. That's why I backed Half-Genie Hero despite its departure from the series' formula.

I think the question was relating to the code give-away instead of buying the whole bundle.
That said, you can buy in at the $1 level to get Affordable Space Adventures as long as the bundle is active...

well not like i'm too down on platformers. If i were to compare it to other games, somewhere between Aladdin snes and DKC...nowhere near super metroid.

I gave a friend of mine first refusal, and now that I've talked to him I still have both versions of Shantae, Freedom Planet, and Nano Assault codes available if anybody wants them.
