If it's because of the commercialization, then yes, I agree with you...The only real reason I like Christmas is because it's really the only time of the year I get to see family that lives on the other side of the country...

I hate Christmas for an entirely different reason that I do not wish to go into. Let's just say that something REALLY bad happened to me on Christmas Eve, and every Christmas since has been really horrible for me.

I really like Christmas, though many people make it a pain in the ass. I just ignore them and enjoy it. . . I think one of the big reasons I like it is that I grew up in a small southern town. . . you'd expect me to say "It's so nice and quaint and enjoyable down here at Christmas". . . well yeah, but that's more annoying than anything else. I like it because it's cold down here during Christmas, and there are no bugs, but it's not too cold.

So I celebrate the buglessness with a Santa hat. Whoopee.

I've always loved Christmas. Everyone feels the need to put up lights and now most of them do something. There's one house near me that must have friends at the electric company or something 'cause every year that thing is it up like a...Christmas tree....wow that was the worst similie ever.

As for a Christmas avatar, I don't want to have to hassle with finding one and then getting someone to get it to the right size, so I'll stick with this one.

I work in retail. I cannot keep up the Christmas spirit for two weeks, let alone two months. Sure, the family side of it is good, but I absolutely loathe the commercialisation of the season (as well as all the other holidays, but that's for another rant)

I have been offered a Santa hat to wear on the floor, but I am still to wear it. Pfeh.
I have a badge that says "Merry Christmas" - its a nice ornament, if I could be bothered to find it. Pfeh again.
I hear non-stop carols over the store's PA, and I swear that there are only four or five carols, and that every artist has done a carol. And Destiny's Child have gone straight to the top of my Revenge list for doing every Christmas carol imaginable, in R&B. Ugh.

Christmas has little meaning for me now, apart from the family side. I'm buying presents and all, instead of thinking about the presents I want, but if someone asks me to 'get into the Christmas spirit', I will abuse them or punch them in the face.

I love christmas, the best part of it is watching little kids pounce on the presents and rip them open as fast as possible, when we tell them to and seeing their reaction to the clothes compared to the toys.

Click "profile" below the navigation bar at the top of the page. At the bottom there is a box labeled, "External Icon." Just place the link there.

(Remember, it must be on your own webspace and must be a max of 64x64 pixels)
