Now let's create a funhouse thread you actually want to see. 

Does absence make the heart grow fonder? We're about to find out by seeing how many people sign up to play this round since it's almost been 3 months since our last Safe Words game. 3 months and yet no one has tried to start another Safe Words game since then.  I'll see that you all pay for that!  By means of this new Safe Words game, so please sign up. 

The theme this time around will be a generic one. It was an idea I had while getting things ready for the last Safe Words game and it will be more centered on the word selections. I call it "Famous Last Words". So, if you feel confident that you are invincible and can outlast the competition, you'll be able to express it all game long. For the rest of the players, you're going to pay for not listening to Han Solo and getting cocky.

I'm not sure people want messages. I don't want to force/impose/guilt people into playing. When I ask about sending messages, people don't respond back as to whether its a good thing or not so I'm never sure if I should do it or not.

Frankly, checking in on the funhouse should just be a part of your everyday Internet use and routine. Especially now that I'm back again. You never know when crazy stuff is going to go down.

Alright. I sent out a pm late Sunday to a few forum users who have played Safe Words a bit more regularly than others. I decided to wait a little and give them a chance to receive the message. But it's time to move forward and get this game happening. Thus, sign-ups are now closed.
