Nintendo appears to be going in heavily with deals on Black Friday and US Thanksgiving week.

A heavy North American eShop sale will be on from November 25 - December 2. Although no games in specific are mentioned, deals will allow us to "save up to 50 percent on dozens of the best-reviewed games for the Wii U console and Nintendo 3DS family of systems". The list of games will be posted here on the day the sale begins.

Several Black Friday deals have also been announced for stores: The Smash Splat pack MSRP has been set at $279.99, and Walmart will be selling Splatoon and Mario Party 10 at $25 in addition to beginning to sell the Modern Colors Mario Amiibo. Toys R Us will have a buy 1 get 1 40% off on Amiibo, and Target will have $15 3DS catalog titles (New Super Mario Bros 2, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land and Animal Crossing New Leaf).

Pretty much everybody but GameStop is selling it for $250.

There'll be a more comprehensive list of Black Friday deals (better sorted) once a prominent online retailer spills the beans.
