Kerbal Space Program for Wii U will be ported by Flying Tiger Entertainment alongside the already announced ports to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The Wii U is a unique platform that will allow us to include millions of Wii U owners worldwide in our passion for space and our game. We'd also like to thank Nintendo for giving us the chance to do so.

In KSP, you must build a space-worthy craft, capable of flying its crew out into space, without killing them. At your disposal is a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship. Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn't). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science!

The game has different game modes, you can play the Career Mode if you want to expand and manage your own Space Center, taking on missions and researching new technologies. Or you can play Sandbox mode if you're only interested in flying and discovering the Kerbal universe without restrictions. There is even a mid point between these two, Science mode.

We feel we have the definitive version on Wii U because of our interface…You’ll be able to utilize the touchscreen and the GamePad in a number of different ways from actually building the spacecraft and navigating the spacecraft and even getting different perspectives. You’ll be able to fly the spacecraft from the cockpit utilizing the GamePad as a different viewpoint.

Not my kind of game, but this has to be the perfect console (horsepower limitations aside) for this game.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA

Really curious at how the GamePad is implemented. Also, anxious on how the frame rate and other technical things will hold up.

This is announcement had me very surprised and excited. I really want this version of the game to be great.

I'm kind of suspicious about performance also... but otherwise rather excited about this. Fantastic to see it making the leap to Wii U and I'm pretty keen on finally trying the game myself.
