I know Capcom are releasing 5 GCN Exclusive games, however what are they?

All I know of are

Product Number 3
Viewtiful Joe
Resident Evil 4

Can someone please name the other two if they are known.

Thanks!

I think PN 03 should be out soon, the kiosks have a demo of it, only my friend got to play it, maybe I'll check it out soon...

dead phoenix and killer7 are the other two.. their exclusivity isn't for certain.. if their sales stink on the cube they will probably be ported over to at least the ps2

I thought I read somewhere that Killer 7 and Dead Phoenix will indeed NOT be exclusive. I can't cite a source simply 'cause I can't remember where I read this.

No, I'm fairly certain all the games except for Resident Evil 4 are exclusive by default and have the possibility of being ported but there are no current plans to do so.

Mario is incorrect about the status of the Capcom 5. Resident Evil 4 and PN 03 are the only exclusive titles of the Capcom 5 by contract. And although Viewful Joe, Dead Phoenix and Killer 7 are not exclusive by contract there are no current plans at this point to port these games to other consoles.

Yes, Mario, but saying they're exclusive implies that they're contractually exclusive and CAN'T be ported over to another console, which isn't true. Although Capcom doesn't have any plans to port them they could right now if they wanted to.

The PS2 can't get a straight port from the Cube. It is more restrictive to develop for and if you don't develop with these restrictions in mind... It can mean having to redo ALL of the models and skins! Could just as well make a new game.

resident evil 4 and viewtiful joe are the only ones confirmed exclusive. Mouseclicker you might have been confused by a blunder pgc did when they showed some resident evil 4 screens...the headline reverted to a year 2000 announcement from when it was announced for all systems. Resident Evil 4 is exclusive. Viewtiful Joe is supposed to be exclusive..but i dont knoew if that will last forever.

I mean that all the games are exclusive simply by the fact they haven't been ported except Resident Evil 4, which IS contractually exclusive. sorry for any confusion.

Seeing as Joe is doing so well, I think their is a fair chance it will remain exclusive. Unless, of course, Capcom thinks "Hey, if it's doing real good on the Cube, so it will do super well on the PS2!"

Good thing it's doing well because I remember it's creator (who also made the very poor selling Stell Batallion- wonder why it flopped) said he could possibly lose his job if Viewtiful Joe doesn't do well- we certainly don't want that.

Whoa! kinda makes you feel sorry for the guy, is it his fault that steel batallion didn't sell well? Nah look at the price that's just scary and being that it was for xbox all the worse it became.

I dont think the Capcom 5 were made with the intention of selling well. They only shipped 20k copies of PN03 in Japan, and only about 50k copies of Viewtiful Joe.

capcom underestimated the sales of viewtiful joe
they saw what happened to pn03 and thought that the game would only sell around 50k
well they did sell out of the initial 50k and lots more people want the game
viewtiful joe could be a huge success and that is what i am hoping for
all i have heard so far about viewtiful joe is that it is an awesome game- i cant wait for it
i call the big one bitey.

Well, the game did require a $150 controller to play it, on top of the $50 for the game. I've heard it was a very good mech game, though.

Capcom only shipped 50k units? That doesn't seem like them. I hope they sell through all their other shipments, too. I hate it when developers blame bad sales on Nintendo or the Gamecube when they barely shipped any copies (ala Burnout 2).

Capcom's marketing team is almost as bad as Sega's =P

PS. I barely saw any copies of Burnout 2 at stores, did they even bother to put it out?

Yeah, Burnout 2 was actually released, but Activision first had shipping troubles then just forgot or something- no store in Kansas I know actually has the game, which really pisses me off. A friend of mine managed to find a copy of it in Chicago and it's an incredibly good game, one that I'd buy in an instant if I could.
