Topic: Is this a Starfox Bug?

I left lightfoot village prematurely and now i cant get back in. i was at the point where i had to line up the totem pole with the snake on it, but ive been out so long now i cant even remember why i left the area. its drivin me nuts!!! when i left lightfoot village, the gate closed and theres no target to shoot to reopen it and i have no idea how to get back in, because to get there originally you were sent there by the game itself.  

Can anyone help me?

Yeah, outside the gate there are three trees that have targets painted on them.  If you walk into that area from another one, you should see a Lightfoot whacking three trees in a specific order.  The gate opens and he walks in.  You then hit the trees in a similar manner with your staff, and the gate should open.  If for some reason the Lightfoot isn't there (or perhaps you saw him already and didn't know what to do), just whack the three trees until you get it.  He should do the tree thing, though, and that's how you get in.

ARRRGH!!!! I could shoot myself right now. I got locked out as well. I then saw the lightfoot guy whack the trees but I still didn't know what to do. I deleted my file and started again! ARRGH ! I've finished it now though joy !!
