Now, maybe this would be tough if you don't have winter or snow because you may not think of an ice scraper so that may not be a word you think of often. I think the first 4 clues are now self-explanatory when you now what the word is. As for 5 and 6, my goal was to get someone to say Skyscraper and then respond with skyless (which is a word according to online dictionaries via Google) and hope that someone could finally piece it all together and realize they needed to remove sky from skyscraper to get the word.

Thinking about it, I probably call it an ice scraper 50% of the time. However, I know there is a sort of spatula metal device that can be used to scrape gum off the bottom of tables and chairs. I was hoping that someone would put scratcher and the other two clues together to realize the word was just scraper. Not sure what other clues I could have given.
