Celebrity deaths don't usually affect me in any meaningful way, but this one hit hard.  So many fantastic roles & moments in movie history are in his performances, it's really unfortunate.

This definitely cuts a little close. While I have as I like to describe it "Non-standard, Non-suicidal depression" I can relate to the laughter aspect. I laugh, but I am not happy. Only terribleness. I make others laugh and I am a little better. I hope he found a little peace in the end.

Just for the hell of it I watched Popeye on Netflix. I loved it when I was a kid. That and Little Shop of Horrors were the only musicals I could stand then.
