Topic: NP very dissapointing for July!

Why? Well I haven't read the magazine yet, but I noticed this is a July?august combo magazine! I won't even get a magazine in August! And the magazine isn't really loaded with pages either, about average! You get two Pokemon TCG cards with it but still, I don't wanna wait two months for my next issue, I paid for 12! Maybe this is their way of cutting magazine costs to ready for Demo Disks by the end of the year? I surely hope so! Also I noticed the magazine newstand prices has jumped to be even with the compititon. This may have happened a few months back but i never realized it. I don't think NP should be even price with EGM and the others since it's only a Nintendo magazine. Just thought i'd share this with everyone. Cya

ok, maybe this is a good example of why you read something before going and shoutin to the world.  This is the 15th year anniverary and they are replicating their debut issue, which was a July/August combo.  I guess I'll just get the january issue, loaded with bonuses for my last issue, so it works out ok considering this will porbably be my last subscription to NP unless they get demo discs cuz i am off to university.

No, no, no. They are switching their number systems to reflect the upcoming month instead of the current month. This is how most magazines do it. You will still get a magazine in August, only it will be called September's. You're not missing anything.

Yep, oh and I just renewed my subscription to it. I'm now a proud owner of the DK64 official soundtrack =D

they sent out an email telling you not to stress about the month thing.  you still get the same amount of issues

They are doing it so there info is more up to date with the other magazines you are gonna get your September issue in August

I had been a NP subscriber for years, even a few years after getting into the internet, where I got news sometimes two or three months ahead of getting it through the magazine.  A few months back, I finally let the subscription end, as I have mounting financial concerns, mainly due to the acquisition of a new house and the utility bills that go along with it.  I miss getting the magazine every month, though.  I think the issues were less interesting in recent years, as it would surely have been more packed if Nintendo were in Sony's or even Microsoft's shoes, right now.
