Topic: Skies of Arcadia questions......

First off i would like to say that i took everyones advice and bought Skies...I must say it is by far my favorite game on gamecube yet. I am totally into this game. I do have some questions about it though. First question is what does will and vigor do in you players stats? Next i would like some help on how to navigate through the south ocean to that island under it to get the blue (?) moon crystal? It seems like i just keep sailing in the south ocean and i am not going anywhere, so please help me out. Thanks.

Will makes your magic power higher, so it's definitely recommended for Fina to have this raised.  Vigor is defensive power, if I'm not mistaken.

As for the South Ocean, are you going to Ixa'taka?  That's the Green Moon Crystal.  Anyway, to get through it you have to sail directly against the wind.  It'll take awhile, but you'll make it eventually.  Just be thankful that you're playing the GC version of the game (I have the DC and GC versions) because in the original you got into fights twice as often, so it could literally take an hour to get there.  Hope that helps you out, man.

Yea its Ixa Taka (sp), correct me if i am wrong, so are you saying i just sail straight south into that big wind wall? Do i need to be pointed down? Any help would be great. And if you have any other alround game tips you would like to tell me go ahead. I love this game.

I just recently rented this game (in fact, it just went back today) and I love it! I managed to make it to the executioner at the coliseum, but I'm not sure I'm ready to defeat him. What levels would you suggest my characters be at? Vyse and Aika are both 11 and Drahma (sp?) is 14 I think.

I'm definitely going to buy this game........ I am having so much fun with it.

Actually does anyone know if Target or K-mart have this game? They are the only places in my town that carry games...................  I really doubt my K-mart would have it, but I'm too lazy to go to Target....it's all the way across town!!

The reason I love this game so much is it has a great story, great music, and it's long. I don't have any friends so it's nice I'll have something to do this summer!

Skyman, that fight was really hard.  Try using Drachma's special attack repeatedly against him.  It's about the most powerful attack you will have at that point in time.

Hey i need some serious help in skies right now. I am trying to find the birdman and the golden wings or whatever so i can go to Rimis (sp) the lost city. I have spent days looking for the bird thing and the closest i found was a discovery of a bird, so i thought it pointed to the city so i flew around forever and never found it.Basically i am saying that i am tired of random battles and flying in circles so please tell me where this bird thing is that can take me to the lost city. Thank you.

 Hey edogg_21 if the bird discovered was a marking on the ground on the island with a lake then that's the first step to Rixis. To find the golden man you will have to go to search for them exactly on one of the two mounts that surround the Ixa'takans King house. Then to find Rixis you will go the direction the two discoveries are pointing but change your camera view so that you can look at the ground (use the D-pad). You will most likely find Rixis on the base of one of the group of mountains that you will find if you followed the right direction.
