Heh, gotta love that Simpsons quote there, Big_Pimp

And man, we sure do have alot of lovers of pie at PGC! Maybe we should switch it to GCP = GameCube and Pie forums. "Where GameCube and pie eaters go to bitch about EVERYTHING"

Forget about Gamecube, these forums should be all about pie.  GC is nothing next to pie.  Now, if you'll exccuse me, I'm going to get some pineapple pie.

Ack, too many pie freaks here. Outside of the occasional urge i don't really have a sweet tooth anymore. i'd rather be satisfied on salty food than eat sweet food.

Now drinks, well, that's a completely different story.

Hehe, actually i was referring to drinks of all kinds. At the time i was thinking of coffee. i'm looking for a cheap brand of coffee to brew in my French press. i've got enough beans to make one last cup of my favorite Italian blend (Caffe Darte's Meaning of Life blend), but it's too expensive to buy any more. i can be really picky when it comes to coffee, and finding a fair substitute for this particular blend in a supermarket will be a bit difficult. A French press can bring out the flavor and body of a good coffee, or expose the weaknesses of a bad one.

Alcohol-wise, i've been drinking Black & Tan (Michelob) lately. i discovered it on one of my mandatory jaunts to Walmart. i'm used to spending $7-$10 for a six-pack, so beer for just over four bucks came as a surprise. i'm not very well versed in beers, but using beers like Yuengling's Black and Tan and Guinness Extra Stout as a ruler, i'd say it lacks the depth of flavor and body of those two, but maintains a good flavor for a beer that's half the price.

Mostly, i've been drinking water. i drink almost a gallon a day, filtered with the new Brita filter they show on tv with the digital indicator. The indicator is really just a simple countdown timer with something like four bars on it. It loses a bar every two weeks, and after two months, you're supposed to replace the filter.

Haha.

Well on the drinking thing.  I only drink alcoholic beverages on special occasions.  My grandfather was an alcoholic and drank himself to death so you can understand.  Other than that I drink water, tea, soda and milk.  I used to drink a lot of coffee but it didn't do anything for me other than abate my thirst so I quit.  But as for what I actually drink alcohol-wise I prefer wine or champange and the occasional Long Island Iced Tea.  My mother makes them stong enough to kill an elephant.  She pours the booze into the measuring cup and as she pours that into the pitcher she is still pouring from the bottle.

Okay, enough "naughtiness". Every thread in the general forum that turns to talk of women goes downhill.

Resume food talk in... now!
