So, I guess I better download all of the Beatles Rockband songs that I haven't already bought?
In general, I'm not bothered by online services shutting down. Most games seem to only use online modes for multiplayer gaming which is something that I can usually live without. However, there are a handful of games that use it to share user-generated content or supplement the content stored on disc - and having those options disappear is a real shame.
Worse, I'm reluctant to run out and buy any extra DLC for games I love (Beatles Rock Band being a prime example) because I'm worried it will be lost for good if my rather old Wii hardware fails. Ugh.
Welcome to the digital future everyone. It's great - especially Nintendo's version.
I've seen the big list of games... but what games are people actually disappointed/upset about having online servers shut down? For me the list is something like:
* BlastWorks
* Boom Blox Bash Party
* Elebits
* Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again
* Mega Man 9 & 10
* Tetris Party
* WarioWare D.I.Y & D.I.Y. Showcase
* World of Goo
* The Beatles Rock Band - already downloaded most of what I wanted, so it's not that bad...
* DJ Hero 1 & 2 - scared to download anything
