So, I've been sick for the past week. You'd think it would mean I'd have more time to spend on the internet but I actually spent very little time using it. It seems that I missed something though as there is talk of bannings and Pokepal is obviously alluding to some thread that doesn't exist anymore with this one. What happened?

Since it is the fun house you should lock the thread for the opposite reasons you would in the rest of the forums. So anyone not making a 'political' comment should garner a warning and a thread-lock.
