Serious answer: why would i regret console that gave all top 3 in my favourite games of the last year and still spend majority of my gaming time on?

Not at all! The Wii U is probably my favorite video game system I have ever owned.

I don't have a Wii U and I am glad I am staying away of owning consoles, because they are an expensive I have happily lived without for 5 years now.  But WOW!!!  Super Smash Bros U and Super Mario 3D World are almost enough to warrant the purchase alone.  Throw in Mario Kart 8 and Wii Sports Club, and eventually Mario Golf and I am a super happy camper.

Actually I do at times. There are times where I love it. There are times I'm glad I have it. Times where I can put in a play session that last an entire afternoon and into the night. There are also times I don't touch it and I hate that it's next to my TV and a PS4 or XBO isn't. Hate that I believed Nintendo's pitch for the system at E3 and expected/believed something I should have know wasn't going to happen.  That I don't have the extra money to buy a PS4 or XBO and feel I invested incorrectly when I did have the money. That I didn't just double down on my PS3 instead.

I think that's really the issue in the end. There are times where I honestly feel I was taken as fool. I don't feel like my investment is paying off. That influences with how I enjoy games on the system. I don't think it should but it does at times and is why there are times where I don't bother with the system. I don't want to feel that way.

Some people say one shouldn't allow a gaming hobby to affect you like that. They're just games and there are more important things. Get your priorities straight. I feel $300+ for the system is quite important and nothing to be dismissed. The money spent on games is important. The system wasn't an impulse buy and it's why I use the word investment.

I have games for the system. However many of them were likely bought in hopes they would help justify the system's purchase to myself. Sure I was interested in them but none of them were really must haves I feel. Under different circumstances I wouldn't have bothered with them. I'm stuck with them now because it's not worth it to trade them or resell them and that adds to the frustration.
