Aliens Walk Among Us Say's Canadian Official
« on: January 10, 2014, 09:02:33 PM »
Has anyone seen this yet? It came on Russian TV a few days ago. I'm one of the types who believe there is intelligent life far away from our planet so naturally I'm intrigued. But it's a retired Canadian minister or defense who is talking about it so of course it all seems more credible.

Just thought i'd share.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2535698/Aliens-walk-theyre-refusing-share-technology-change-warring-polluting-ways-claims-former-Canadian-defense-minister.html

Most aliens come from other star systems, although there are some living on Venus, Mars and Saturn’s moon

There have been four species of aliens visiting our planet for thousands of yearsThere are between two and twelve total species of aliens (although some place the number closer to 80).

Some look just like humans, while others appear more like the creatures portrayed in popular cultureMost alien species have benevolent intentions toward humanity, although a handful have ulterior motives

One alien species, known as the 'Tall Whites' is working with the U.S. Air Force in Nevada and has been known to pass for humans in publicThe 'federation' of alien species has vowed not to intervene in human affairs unless they are invited to

The federation is disappointed in the way humans have treated the planet

Aliens technology is far more advanced, but have given us LED lights, microchips and Kevlar vests

I'd really like to hear everyone's thoughts on this. If nothing else we can laugh at each other's beliefs!

and I also don't think we are alone. The universe is far to vast and diverse for some other planet to not have had a condition capable of supporting some sort of life.

I would like to point out - if I was part of the government and wanting to hide some kind of massive conspiracy, I'm totally going to have part of the cover up include some kind of movie/television series that is based off the true details of my secret operation.  Then, when someone leaks details, it'll sound like they're just stealing them from some movie they saw and everyone will write them off as crazy.

And, totally, if I was a futuristic super-computer that used human as batteries and kept them plugged into my virtual world, I'd totally make that a movie.  Stupid humans would never figure that out.

I think life is out there, but I don't think it's visited Earth.

Any species that masters interstellar travel would either A) be too smart to make themselves known or B) not waste all that effort traveling untold light-years to go completely unnoticed.

Well that's the thing, if they have been coming here they haven't been going completely unnoticed at all.

Unclebob, you joke but that is essentially the reality now! hahahaha! Well at least the way I see it anyway. You hear so many reports that talk about the same things, then you get super famous movies made after them so anyone who's said anything like it before or after sounds like a lunatic.

At the very least these movies are desensitizing us for the inevitable.

Still though a federation? Can you imagine?

But that's the thing, why travel thousands of light years and not say, "Hey, we're aliens! We're gonna give you technology/conquer your planet now."?

Whatever people think are signs of alien life having visited Earth are questionable at best.

Just a coincidence, but within this past week I had watched MIB, and both The Day the Earth Stood Still. They share very similar ideas to what this mister was saying.

Technically Aliens exist by definition.  My Grandmother was an Alien till she got here citizenship.

Extraterrestrials probably do exists back to their is to much stuff in the universe that probability that something similar to here is to high.  In fact there is a mathematic equation if memory serves that asks the question why their isn't more life.

Ah here it is The Drake Equation

Though this touches upon a sore spot I have with Media.  That we are incapable of discovering things on our own and that we are only mimicking the past.

I agree with the idea that if aliens were going to travel here they probably wouldn't keep it so secret.  If WE went to another planet that had intelligent life would WE be so subtle about it?  Wouldn't we be marching in there with a full army just to put our damn flag up?  Sci-fi also tends to depict alien species as one specific culture where everyone thinks and does things in the same general way.  Humans obviously aren't like that so wouldn't a human-like species probably operate the same way?  So maybe the alien version of the US is all secretive about their space program but the alien version of the USSR wouldn't be.  Some aliens might be peaceful but others from the same planet might be warmongers and what are the odds of only the peaceful guys having the technology to visit us?

And of course there's our government's involvement in this.  So how come aliens only land in the US?  No one landed in North Korea or Sudan or some place like that where the government might not be so on the ball at covering it up?  And in your lifetime has the US government filled you with so much confidence that you would assume they can cover this all up without some corruption or incompetence fucking it all up?  With conspiracies like this my argument is that if you believe in them, then you must logically believe that the government is so sneaky that they intentionally promote the image of being incompetent and corrupt to deflect suspicion of the really important stuff.  Because some idiot somewhere would be caught with an alien and a hooker in a motel room and blow the lid on the whole thing.

Honestly I think we have been visited and thousands of years ago aliens influenced many cultures on earth. I can not accept the pyramids until we build something just like them in today's day and age. Aren't there like a zillion cultures on earth who call their gods the star people? Always talking about how they came before and did so and so? It's certainly not just the US that's for sure.

We are pretty dangerous as well. I'm sure they could decimate us at a moments notice but at what cost to them? We do have extremely powerful weapons and if there really is some galactic federation full of Grey's, tall whites, Chozo and F-Zero racers like the Canadian said then they just choose to let us be and are plenty content with leaving us alone for the most part.

*shrug*

It be the same scenario as when Europeans came to America.  Biological organisms that were harmless to Europeans seriously hurt Indians.

Then what was the point of the pyramids?  How would extra-terrestrials benefit from traveling thousands of light years to build those things?  There's no logical reason for any species to do such a thing and then not stick around.  Why wasn't other, better technology left behind?  It doesn't add up.

And there are plenty of examples of human architecture to say that we've built something like them in the modern age.

The pyramids conduct energy, I've long since subscribed to the theory of them being giant machines. Energy for people as well as anything else like a machine in the "traditional" sense.

Who knows why they wouldn't stick around, I mean what we perceive as illogical might be totally logical to them.

Please enlighten me on what we've built in the modern age that is anything like pyramids.

The Luxor in Vegas... It is a pyramid, only it sleeps more than 2. Much more than 2.

But I thought the pyramid where a Star map, much like Stone Henge, where using man power and tools of the day, it seemed nealy impossible to replicate. My only guess to propose was to worship the space visitors that visited to help build the structures.
