Yep Luke shows up in the first issue where we get infamous panel of Jones and Cage having anal sex. He than shows up off and on and they eventually get engaged after Jones gets pregnant. Daredevil shows up in third issue as her lawyer after getting a call in from luke to help her.
Will be interesting to see how they handle her power wise. The defenders are def street level but from a power standpoint she should be able to go toe to toe with Cap or even the iron man armor since her powers are strength and flight.
Does anyone have a timeline of the MCU movies by in universe year that's current. We assumed that the Netflix series would go in order or be close to where we are at in Phase II, but that really doesn't need to happen since there's a 3-5 year gap between Avengers and Age of Ultron.
The timeline could work something like this
Daredevil - a few months after Avengers and ends around the time say Iron Man 3 started.
Jessica Jones - She was Jewel for six months after Avengers before quitting after the purple Incident
Luke Cage - It can take pretty much anytime and his powers could be based on trying to recreate the serum that gave Cap his abilities.
Iron Fist - another that really can take place in the five year gap.
With five series you could have each one be a year of phase II and have The Defenders set after Age of Ultron.
Also last thought of the night, but if the deal goes through next month for spider-man in the MCU (my guess is civil war was being made with script and concept art for with or without spidey and the reason why they haven't filmed the last scene of AOU yet). Than wouldn't the obvious thing to do since its a joint production is too put him in Civil War, but use Sony's November Sinister Six date as the first MCU spidey movie, just have both companies work on this one together and fast track it the way Xmen first class was.
