Hey, I have always been a pokemon game fan but i just picked sapphire up about 2 weeks ago. And i love it, its still the same great game but with good additions in it. And as im reaching the end of the game i was thinking "There gonna make another version right?" They proably will. But i dont expect it for a couple of years (maybe 2). So what do you guys wanna see in the next one? Anything you want to add? or subtract? Here is what i want: I would like the ability to make your own TM's. Say your pokemon is going to learn rock throw but you dont want him to learn it but you want another pokemon to. You could buy a machine to save rocksmash and make it a TM so you can teach it to someone else. Maybe some new HM moves, we have had the same ones since blue, and red(except dive, and maybe 1 more). More puzzles. Stronger wild pokemon, more trainers in the gyms.

Well obviously an online PKMN title is something we all want.

I was thinking of making the game based on the TV show. You play as Ash, and all your Pokemon's abilities are needed to go places. Like to fly and chase the Team Rocket blimp or something.

They probably will make another game, but if you want to satisfy your pokemon craze until Nintendo does, you should pick up Pokemon Yellow. I plan on getting it after I buy my GBA, along with Sonic Advance 2.

Combined attacks, and more strategy when it comes to increasing defense and attack (never used roar or whatever, and the defensive one).....

A better view on the battle. I hate it when all you see is the back of the pokemon and the face of the opponent's pokemon. Why not do something like Golden Sun where when you do a special move like Solar Beam that it would have a cutscene or at least catch it from a different angle. You should be able to see yourself and the opponent. It should pan around for a more dramatic gameplay experience. Sure its really fun, but its still ugly to look at. (well not ugly, but not pretty)

More frames put in the sprites, when things are hit all they do is shake.......what the hell?

nah dont base it on the tv show, that would just be silly (and done before, hello pokemon yellow)

keep the current formula with only a few additions but totally revamp the graphics, make them goldensunesque quality, perhaps a bit less given the amount of animations there would be.. but alot better than what we have at any rate (not that some dont look good, thunder comes to mind)

Ï havent played saphire or ruby yet because they havent been released here yet. Im more interrested about the GC pokemons, if they would make massive online pokemon rpg it would be cool. and it that catching pokemons wouldent be so easy, like catching 100pokemons would take a looong time, like in tv show, i havent watched it in ages but how mutch ash now got 10? 20? and its like 5 year old serie. It would be fun to glow in front of new players with your pokemon collection.

I was thinking about the online pokemon. But the first problem is the GBA is not online. The 2nd is how are you gonna do it. There would be some people who have pokemon level 80 and some just starting out. Unless you have it on the GBA2(hoping its online) and have a regular game and then after you defeat the elite 4 you can go into a special world with other trainers. OF course there must be differnet character models so everyone doesnt look the same.

would someone be able to make a tunneling feature for GBAs? have a converter so the link cable goes into USB port then you connect to the other persons IP and hooray your connected?

I live in Finland. Its release date here is 25.7.2003. This is how it is with Nintendo players in EU. always months behind. If i wouldnt love Nintendo games so mutch i would buy another console but cant live with out Mario and Zelda and all the other Nintendo games.

I agree with Don'tHate742 about different views of matches and seeing your opponent’s trainer. I also think it would be great if you could see your opposing trainer's facial expressions. Example: Opponent losing match would have a worried look and if winning he/she would have a confident expression. The game would also be more exciting if your pokemon actually looked like they where performing an attack like Bite or Head Butt.

I always thought a fighting Pokemon game would be cool. Say your a trainer, you let out a Pokemon such as Charmander. The person your fighting lets out...Squirtle. You get to controll Charmander like using his moves, running jumping etc and have to take your opponents hitpoints to zero. You cannot use the same attack more then twice, or the damage will decrease by half. I think that would add a new aspect to Pokemon.

Well, that would take away (one of) the RPG aspects of the game, turn based battles. Turned base battles are fun, and there aren't a ton of games with that in it, so I think Pokemon should keep with the turned base. Your idea would be cool, but also hard to pull off on a GBA with any quality. It would work with Pokemon Colleseum, but I don't think it'll ever happen.

Btw it wouldn't be on the GBA, it would have to be on the GameCube. Maybe it could be an unlockable mode or something. It would be even better if four of your friends were playing at once...that would be a blast.

I would raver a remake of Red/Blue but make it be Garys sister or someone, so Its like "pokemon red directors cut" but with a diff plot
so it sticks with the orginal 150, has the 8 gyms and no stupid breeding or contests....
ruby was too gimmicky...
I would raver just battle, level up and catch better pokemon then mix up berrys so you can beat a gym leader

really? i thought ruby/saphire was alot better than gold/silver, it felt alot more like red/blue to me, but with worthwhile additions to the gameplay mechanics, and tbh i have hardly mixed any berries and im upto beating the 1337 four (shut up mario

I think that the battle backgorund should be more detailed, because there's only a slight circle around the pokemon, which represents its type of environment, I think that pokemon like water type should be made in the water like a Gyrados thats on the water, they(Nintendo) should make the backgrounds blend in to the environment, and I agree about adding facial expressions to the trainers, in the next pokemon game, they should add ALL the pokemon from Kanto, Johto and Hoenn together, like you get to choose the pokemon from the different regions, you'll be able to pick one from each region, and the game should be longer and also have animation on the pokemon like totodile jumping up and down in celebration of a victory, and also add some more HMs and TMs, plus you'll get to choose whether you're a mercenary that works for "Team Rocket"( BAD SIDE), you'll get to do quests like steal pokemon from trainers, and also have a communicator to contact them for back-up, and you come from a foreign city,OR you'll be a regilar pokemon trainer who's going to stop "Team Rocket", and dreams of being a pokemon master( not Ash Ketchum, GOOD SIDE),and the mext pokemon should be like yellow version ( with a pokemon who travels besides you) and also have more vehicles like a car, hot-air balloon,Truck,van,motorcycle,bus,etc.,plus new pokemon.
