You got it!

So, as you probably saw, I've got a lot of stuff for you to add to your catalogue. When do you think we can meet up and have you go through it so I can clean it up?

By the way, did you buy more turnips Stratos? Because I've got turnip prices at 556 bells!!!!! Woot woot! I feel like such a genius right now. I skipped buying turnips for two weeks and all that happened was some random market prices with highs in the 130-140's range. With me almost catching up again to real time, I decided to get back in the market and get my usual 100,000+ turnips and now I'm about to rake in the dough. I bought them at 93 bells each which means 463 bell profit per turnip. I'm going to be making over 46,300,000 bells on this. That Gold Bell Saver Badge is practically mine. I'll only be about 5,000,000 bells short of it.

Thus, if I could take further advantage of this high price in turnip sales, I would like to do so. I did this with Mop it up and it works. If someone else has their game on a Sunday morning either in the past or in the future from my day, we can still buy turnips in that person's town and take them to my town and sell them at this 556 price. One storage locker filled trip there and back and I will have more than enough. Let me know where you are or perhaps Pokepal148 if he wants in on this idea and hopefully we can all strike it a bit rich here.

Count me in. I can sell off my turnips. I'd be willing to just skip ahead to next Sunday and wwe can do this all day long.

When works for you? I'm at my folks for Christmas but could probably find some time. Or we can do Thursday.

Ha ha. Did not expect you to reply so early in the morning after my post. Apparently I'm not the only one living it up on vacation time. Today and tomorrow both work for me. Today is a bit better since I have nothing on the go but tomorrow I would be out in the evening and had thought about going to a movie but can always change that to later. That said, you can only buy turnips for 6 hours on Sunday so there is a limit to how long we could spend doing it anyways.

As it is, I'm just playing my game right now and selling off the turnips I do have at the moment. If you can find a moment to pop online during the next couple hours, my friend tracker should tell me you are online also and I can open my gates to let you in. Otherwise, I'll just finish up what I've got and wait on word from you.

Well, we are starting to get into the homestretch here I think. Currently, out of the 2862 items that can be catalogued minus the DLC items, my homemade list tells me I'm at 1843 for a 64.39% completion. May not seem much but most of the remaining are special items given out on events or holidays or special shop items like Gracie and the Island.

For instance, furniture I can buy from Nooklings shop or throught the catalgoue is only 204 pieces. For wallpaper, it is 9 pieces, for flooring it is 8 pieces, stationary is 4 pieces.

The biggest challenge may end up being clothing at this point. After hardly having any gyroids, I've now got 60 out of the 131 possible. Almost 50% there in just a few weeks. Even that area is showing good growth.

So, I've got a huge swath of stuff for you to come buy and add to your catalogues if you are still doing this with me. I'd like to get this done soon as I'm starting to get cramped for room. It doesn't help that Stratos has millions lying around on my property. Side note, I'm going to take 400,000 from you that goes towards the 800,000 I gave Pokepal for buying the throne item which you said we would pay him back for. I gave him the full 800,000 to make things simpler than him having to collect from various individuals.

Now, there are certain items that if I can add them to my catalogue will complete their sections. My hope is that you can check your catalogues and if you have them, either re-order them so that I can acquire them or if you own them, have me come over and catalogue. Let's start with the small stuff.

Stationary

Camouflage Paper
Cloudy Paper
Plaid Paper
Sparkly Paper

With those 4 items, my stationary list will be complete.

Shoes

Red Wrestling Shoes

Once I have acquired those, I will be done with the Kicks store.

Hats

Bear Cap
Beret
Blue Nightcap
Blue Pom-Pom Hat
Braided Wig
Diver's Hood
Grandpa Hat
Headkerchief
Kintaro Wig
Ogre's Wig
Racing Helmet
Stagehand Hat
Student Cap
Topknot Wig
Viking Helmet
Warbonnet
White Cap

With those 17 hats acquired, I will be done with Labelle's shop having already acquired all her accesories and umbrellas.

And of course, if anyone gets an extra Super Star, it is the last Fortune Cookie item I need. Hasn't helped that most of December, Nooklings hasn't sold many cookies in place of glow sticks and wands.

Oh that reminds me, I still need to add the Jingle Bed, Jingle Clock and Jingle Piano to my catalogue.

In another frustrating moment, despite these items only appearing from Dec. 1 - 23, the game never had them show up at Nooklings. I did get to see some other items appear two or three times. You'd think there would be some code in place to make sure you get the chance to acquire all the items available in a limited time. Of course, there was no problem with the Jingle wallpaper and carpet being offered over and over again. Same thing happened with the Spooky set and that is even sadder since there are less items and more time (Oct. 1 - 31) to acquire them all.

On a different note though, you may recall earlier in this thread how I lost a few items because Katrina's tent appeared over top them while they were lying on my square. Well, I finally built a Police Station and the items were all in it for me to take back. So, in some ways, my AC luck is still going strong.

Guess who just acquired the DLC 7-11 set? That's right, this guy! While the rest of you were busy avoiding this thread, I've stuck to the business at hand of owning this game. So, if you want to be awseome like me, you really need to start getting back on board with the program.

I might not be able to play at work on the weekends soon. I'll keep you posted if I can.

Just got this game. How's the community here?

It just seems to be the few of us in this thread. Although there might be more and my obscure title keeps people from posting or afraid of having to join up in to our group and participate lots in this thread.

But the good news is that we are pretty willing to help and assist you with any questions or requests you may have. If you read through this thread, you'll see the goal is to complete our catalogues or get as close as possible. There 2862 items not including DLC but all other catalogued items such as furniture, songs, gyroids, clothing, and anything else that will show up the catalogue. I currently have 960 items left to find and catalogue and that number grows smaller by the day. The benefit to you is that with us having such a large amount of our catalogue filled up, we can probably help source you any items you may be looking for.

If you play the Stalk Market, which I highly, highly recommend, by keeping in touch with us, we can watch our turnip prices and assist you if you need help in selling.

You've started at a good time. Once I can get Stratos over to my village, I'm going to have a whole ton of items I don't need of furniture and clothing so you could come over and take anything you want for free. As well, I'm trying to find a Super Star in the fortune cookies so in the meantime, I can hold on to any extra Nintendo items I get from the fortune cookies in the meantime if you are looking to acquire those items. We can probably help you with hunting for fossils for your museum if you want that too.

Although, you've also picked a bad time to play in that the winter months are a bit slower in stuff to do. There's very few bugs and fish to catch so that might get a bit repetitive although discovering the island could increase that quantity.

Still, hope you enjoy the game and feel free to participate in this thread even if you don't want to actually meet up much in game.
