Nintendo Power also did an interview with Denis. I like this part,
Quote

Basically saying, “Here’s the issues we had last year, and here’s how were going to address them and work toward the future.” It was really great to see. And I’m a very big fan of Mr. Yamauchi [the former president of Nintendo] and I really think that when he made Mr. Iwata the new president, that was a stroke of genius. It’s one of those decisions that Mr. Yamauchi is so famous for. It’s a decision that no one expected, but it’s worked out really well. You know, we’re the only first party that has someone who knows how to make games as a president of the company. I can actually sit down with Mr. Iwata and say, “Why don’t you take a look at this game?” and we can have a dialogue. If I were to do that with someone like Bill Gates, I think he’d rather be watching wrestling or something. I’m not saying that he’s not a bright guy—he certainly is—but he just doesn’t know video games. So it’s very exciting.

Haha, Bill Gates = owned! Check it out.

Just dropping the company line.  There's one big reason why the Nintendo showing at E3 seemed to miss something and you can thank Microsoft for it.

A great read (as always with Denis Dyack). Like Miyamoto he seems to be one of the few game producers/designers who really know what they're doing and he always has a lot more to say than the usual (and generally very boring) PR-stuff.

Nice to see Denis Dyack getting some publicity.  He is one of the few developers who knows how to make a good game.  All I see coming from this guy in the future are good games.
I got some killaz on my payroll.

yeah denis always has the best interviews- he gives out a lot of information, but never reveals too much
i like how he said that too human was not canceled and they are working on different projects now
i also like the fact that they want this metal gear game by christmas- hopefully they can add everything they want to
i call the big one bitey.

Man do I ever love this man.

One of the things with the video game violence issue is that there’s no significant link whatsoever [between video-game and real-life violence]. There’s really nothing except babble by the politicians.
