It's fun to be able to comment on something while you are doing it and have a screenshot of where you are at so that people know exactly what/where you're talking about.

So I got banned for two weeks (without notice) from Miiverse. No big deal, it was getting boring. But get this, since Nintendo thought it'd be a good idea to put the friend messenger inside of miiverse, instead of friend list where it really should be, i'm banned from sending friend messages. Lmao, Nintendo, you are trolling me hard... This is now Wii 1.5 in my book. I praised this thing when I first got it, but now little by little it's showing me that Nintendo will never have any competency when it comes to balancing an online experience while also trying to 'protect the kids.'

I've noticed that people who repeatedly post offensive stuff will eventually be denied instant public viewing. This is when you post a message but everyone else will see "awaiting moderator approval" though I don't know what the original poster see's. They may not even be aware they are under heavy supervision.

I think its a very bold move for Nintendo to apply such heavy moderation, it could have backfired on them with people calling them "thought Nazis" or something.

The person who I saw had previously posted a picture of a crudely drawn penis that looked more like an artillery gun.

Now you know Nintendo is serious about moderating the Miiverse, so tone it down or try to be more clever and stealthy about it.

I think it's great, although I would infer there is a fear of over moderation. Hell, I was afraid of saying "This game is kicking my ass" in the Mighty Switch Force Nano Assault community out of fear the post would get deleted.

know what I love about the tell in that quote? The fact that he cements his immaturity by complaining and whining about being banned, going as far as petty name calling, instead of realizing why he's banned and trying to fit it.

I hope he or she was a kid because they're going to learn the hard way that this **** doesn't fly in real life. If I exceed the speed limit, I may get off with a warning once or twice but eventually I'll get a ticket. If I get enough of those tickets I risk my license being suspended. Calling the officer a pig and saying the police force is a watered down military only makes me look stupid.

Why do people fall to realize we live in the digital age where everything can be easily tracked, if it isn't already? Just because he sent a message to his friend doesn't mean its ok for it to break the miiverse code of conduct and/or user  agreements - just like me/an actor/musician/politician sending a provocative photo to a friend/lover/ex/stranger  doesn't mean it cant make its way into the public eye and bite me in the ass.
